New York Democrats named by a right-leaning news outlet as possible primary challengers to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) say they have no interest in running against the freshman congresswoman in 2020.
Several top state Democrats reacted on Twitter after The Daily Caller named them as potential challengers to Ocasio-Cortez, citing supposed ire raised by the rising progressive star among House colleagues due to her support for Justice Democrats, a left-leaning group that supports primary challenges against centrist members of the party.
Among those who denied the report was New York City Councilman Jimmy Van Bremer, who tweeted Wednesday that he has "never waited for a seat & I’m not waiting for this one."
"AOC had the courage to run & challenge. She won. I support her efforts to change how this work is done in #Queens & beyond," he tweeted. "This whole thing is crazy. I’m kind of loving having @AOC as my Congressmember! I’m not taking her on. I’m backing her up!"

Fortunately, Cortez has an occupation to fall back on once she gets the boot.
What do the Republicans say? They had been nominating a stooge candidate for years, because the district was considered unwinnable. Now, they might try to find somebody good.
It’s idiotic stories like this that really hurt the reputation of ‘news’ organizations, right or left.
NAMES or it’s B.S. Anything with unattributed quotes should be deemed garbage. Who said it, When, and what context or it’s fake news.
Jimmy Van Bremer sounds like he may not be right in the head. He loves having a Marxist, Puerto Rican, former cocktail waitress as his “Congressmember”. It sounds like she’s not the only “member” he loves. The boy needs to get a life.
AOC, Taliab, and Omer represents youth and swift, sudden change for Marxism/Globalism.
The days of Democrats hiding behind a moderate facade while advancing their agenda against Republican "opposition" are long gone.
That is why the RNC is behind Trump. The Republican establishment is destroyed, voters of Trump will never again vote for a RINO. So Democrats, having lost the fake opposition, are going all in for Marxism.

One of my curmudgeonly friends said the ONLY two honest politicians in this country are President Trump and AOC. You can loath what she stands for, but she is not hiding anything or being coy about what she wants to do.
Isn’t that the case?

I thought she won the primary because she is a Puerto Rican girl who ran in a district that USED to be majority White, but has become majority or at least plurality Puerto Rican, and the Puerto Rican voters didn’t care about her politics, just her genetics. Is that not correct? After all, I read it on the internet.
AOC popularity proves the demonrats are in deep trouble....it should he fun to watch the slashing of throats as time passes....
Full Marx to AOC for her honesty. She tells it like it isn’t. Sincere, but ill-informed. Passionate but stupid almost beyond belief, given what we know about the world around us.

NY? It was a guy named Marc Molinaro, currently Dutchess County Executive.
Well, they sure got that part right. AOC and everyone who helped elect her are insane.
Or perhaps it is a strong indicator that the movie "Idiocracy" was a documentary.
AOC is the future of the Democrat party. (anti-White, anti-Male, anti-Christian, and anti-Jewish). The old-time party leaders will be pushed aside by younger, more predatory leaders. It might be fun to watch some of it as long as we can avoid the collateral damage. There will be a lot of collateral damage.
After all, AOC and her ilk are the elected officials in control of Congress right now. And they intend to remain in power "by any means necessary".
Internecine conflicts where Democrats take out each other should be encouraged.
