ABC11 spoke with the child's father, Scott Holmes, a Civil Rights attorney, activist, and professor at NC Central University.

He hasn’t been obnoxious enough to make it to Wikipedia.

I checked out his UNC bio, though. He’s a Quaker, or Quaker hanger on, plays classical guitar, and (ugh) dances ballet.

No mention of his marital or partner status. Wonder if he’s a single dad.

His dad, Scott Holmes, said he talked to Liam about it beforehand, but he wasn't sure if he'd follow through.

"When he did it I was really surprised and also really proud of him," Scott Holmes said.

So, really the dad used his kid as a political prop. Mind you this is the same dad who would scream bloody murder if another Cub Scout wore a MAGA hat. Suddenly, there would be a DEMAND to disallow the hat despite "free speech". Suddenly the paper and others wouldn't be writing about how proud they were of this kid for "daring" to do something so "brave".

If we “teach” our kids that America is a bunch of different “colors”, America as an idea is dead. Most of these a-hole parents know full well the difference.
