The first hanging in my hometown (in Upstate NY) was about 1835. Plain old murder. First Capital Case....newspapers were nervous...didn't want to influence the jury.

I think anyone reading racism into the noose hanging from the T has to have their head examined. I would bet anyone who complained about it needs to get a life and has failed at everything they have done in life.
