Probably all of the above.
Just ignore the 30 people killed this weekend in Chicago’s south and west sides, by the way.
Let that be a lesson to business everywhere. Never fire anyone. Be just like the Government./s
What color was the gun?
That's important too.
</sarcasm>
So, what happens when folks aren’t raised knowing that sometimes things don’t go your way. In other words NOT everybody gets a trophy after all. How do you deal with failure and rejection as an adult if you’re never taught how to deal when you’re a kid? Just another incident for the ‘antis’ to exploit. Were there appropriate NO FIREARMS signs? Was there a company policy of no firearms on the premises? We know where this will go..............
The gun wore a MAGA hat.
I predict this won’t get that much play. This guy was getting back at the man and the socialists support this kind of violence.
I have fired/laid off many people over the years. Probably in the hundreds. Had a LEO presence for two of them. For the past twenty years we do a security assessment on every one. It’s not hard and it is worth the time.
Alleged Aurora IL shooter Gary Martin
Is it so difficult in Illinois to fill the position of a factory valve assembler that you have to turn to violent felons?
He had a felony conviction for stabbing a woman. What could go wrong at the workplace?
“The site said that at least one victim said that the weapon had a green laser sight on it.”
This is a weird new thing that the media is suddenly afraid of.
This fella had multiple prior arrests and was unstable. Apparently, for the 20 prior years he worked there (which is another weird thing the media has latched on to).
Terrible things happen, no matter how many green lasers one has.
No, it is "citizens", not "civilians". The police are not military.
This can’t be right. We’re told
all mass shooters are while.
***Will they go after laser sites on handguns,***
fifty years ago anti-gunners were demanding rifle scopes be banned in the US.
August 3, 1995, he had a felony conviction for Aggravated Assault in Mississippi.
6 prior arrests by the Aurora Police Department, for traffic and domestic violence.
Arrested in 2008 for violating an order of protection.
January, 2014 the shooter was issued an Illinois Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card.
On March 6, 2014, the shooter applied to purchase a handgun.
On March 11, 2014, the shooter took possession of a Smith and Wesson 40 caliber handgun.
On March 16, 2014, the shooter applied for a concealed carry permit. Once his felony conviction was discovered, the concealed carry permit was rejected, and his FOID card was revoked.
Arrested in 2017 for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property.
How was it possible for a felon to pass an FBI background check?
Violating an Order of Protection is also a felony from 2008, still bought a gun?
After having his FOID revoked for being a felon, and being on record as owning a firearm, why didn’t that trigger an investigation?
This isn’t a gun control issue, this is a case by multiple law enforcement agencies failing to stop legally prohibited persons from having a gun.
It’s a good thing he was fired BEFORE he shot up the place. In Illinois, if he was still employed, he probably could’ve gotten workers comp after killing himself.
After 20 years, is be curious to know why he was fired.
Where are you with a bad breaker upper reference??
Ask a lib what is wrong with a laser sight and you will get something like “the framers of the 2nd Amendment did not foresee private ownership of high tech weapons.”
Jefferson and Franklin were both brilliant and visionaries. They had to know that the musket and the flintlock were only the beginning for firearms.
Then why did the founders not restrict 2nd Amendment ownership to spears and arrows? Because they intended for citizens to have access to all forms of weapons.
There are three types of libs. The stupid, the liars and the corrupt.
I personally don’t care for laser sights although I believe they are good for close quarter encounters where a fraction of a second determines who lives.
I prefer to avoid situations where bad things happen that fast.
They're already banned in the cities of Chicago, Cicero, and Thornton, Ill.
