Google says the built-in microphone it never told Nest users about...

In early February, Google announced that its home security and alarm system Nest Secure would be getting an update. Users, the company said, could now enable its virtual-assistant technology, Google Assistant.

The problem: Nest users didn't know a microphone existed on their security device to begin with.

The existence of a microphone on the Nest Guard, which is the alarm, keypad, and motion-sensor component in the Nest Secure offering, was never disclosed in any of the product material for the device.

Sue the f’ers until they are destitute and homeless.

You'd have to catch them before they go back to India. Are there any Americans at Google? They used to have James Damore, but they fired him.

Goofgle knew what is was doing. The “omission” was intentional.

I’ve got several wireless motion sensors in the condo, tied into my Choice Security Co-installed system, but don’t know the make/model.

It’s a security system. Of course it’s going to have a listening device. People cannot honestly be that stupid. Even saying that, I wouldn’t have a listening device in my home. I’m suspicious of my home computer and my tv, but the hubby says that I’m paranoid. I did place a sticker over my computer’s camera. He thinks I’m crazy.

I don’t doubt it one bit. Obummer was recruited by the Deep State and became a Swamper when he joined the gov’t in IL, and then POTUS.

NOW they tell Ron Rosenstein. He could have recorded so much.

That bulky wire setup and the cheap FBI white tape on his back that pulled out the hairs was so uncomfortable.

And telling Trump every few minutes “Please repeat that closer to my right shirt cuff. Thanks.”

I have about half a dozen Amazon Dots around the house. Mostly I use them for playing music through Bluetooth speakers, but they are also handy for turning lights and heaters on and off and a lot of other stuff you normally would not think of. There are thousands of uses for them. I think Jeff Bezos is too busy with his own difficulties to bother spying on me.
