A French former prisoner who had converted to Islam while incarcerated was arrested after trying to have a sub-machine gun delivered to him by post.
The 30-year-old, who was not identified by name, was arrested last week in the city of Angers in Western France at a local post office while attempting to pick up the firearm that had originally come from the United States, Le Parisien reports.
On Friday, the man was indicted on charges of importing category A weapons, according to public prosecutor Yves Gambert.
Local media also added that the suspect had served a seven-year prison sentence in 2010 for violence with a weapon and targetted a police officer. While in prison, he converted to Islam and was examined by security services in 2016 following the Bataclan massacre in November of 2015.
He also is alleged to have met and had become well acquainted with Islamist David Pagerie who had previously been convicted of consulting Islamist jihadi sites in 2016.
The Islamic State terror group has even been known to have such a presence in some French prisons. They were able to coordinate and plan a terror attack with inmates in the Fresnes prison in 2017 until the plot was foiled by the Directorate General of Internal Security (DGSI) intelligence agency

Notice it says “originally” from the US, so it could have been passed around through a dozen or more owners and an equal number of countries before arriving in France.
Notice that the prisoners with violent backgrounds are the one who are attracted to and convert to Islam? They are also often men who are rapists- hence Islam gives a validity to their misogyny.

Whenever conversions like this get published my reaction is:
Pope Francis continuing destructive confusing pontificating on temporal worldly social behavior,which has nothing to do with and avoids articles of faith and has rebuked or restrained contemplative religious orders to favor such behavior .
He refuses to question and expound on the profound differences with the claims made by Islam and its followers Instead of reaching out to and defending what Judeo/Christian beliefs are. Challenging the claims that Islamist make they are following God’s command using deceit and deception when ruthlessly murdering and torturing non believers and destroy their edifice .
Simply because of its assertion of being monotheistic. Then winds up making a point of honoring it and placing it on an equal level because of that claim.
Is leading to misguided conversions which is the result of my so called Pope playing games with this so called mono theistic cult and a serious fracture within Christianity and The Roman Rite .
