So, are they litigating the nutritional soundness of the regulation? Not sure what the damage is here.

Oh Noes, the kids are drinking low fat Chocolate milk.

Wait till they actually have to teach the Three Rs again and teaching fisting is considered extra curricular activity and not a basic course for 4th graders...

Maybe the kids are actually eating the lunches now instead of tossing them in the trash.

On a more serious note, why is the Federal Government involved (answer - money). Let the school district pay for the meals and set their own policies. Problem solved.

We’ve always packed our kids lunches. Not necessarily cheaper, but we have more control of the food and it’s better.

I could have a pint of whole white milk for 1₵ of a pint of whole chocolate milk for 2₵ at both morning and afternoon recess. Sometimes my mom would give me twinkies, along with the bologna sandwich (likely full of nitrosamines.)

I guess them implementing their own nutritional standards above the fed requirements requires to much thought and effort.

New York Attorney General Letitia James led the multistate civil legal action,

This would be the Atty Gen who said her #1 priority was to oppose President Trump. How dare he be President.

On another note, one of small things about Michelle’s school lunches I have come to hate are the replacements for saltines, like you’d put in soup and chili. They are tasteless, ugly, and they don’t even crumble correctly.

You do not like the national standards? They are your schools; just pass your own local standards. It’s called federalism.

"Dietary Guidelines for Americans,"

These are NOT guidelines, these are dictatorial lines as in 'you have no choice'...the food is already prepared....check the garbage cans after meals.
