RUSH: As per usual in these circumstances, this is an amazing thing to watch. You got all these Democrats on this committee that’s led by Serrano from New York, Jose Serrano from New York, and they got Bill Barr, the attorney general. They think they’re gonna get to the bottom because the Democrats without fake news and without conspiracies don’t have any news. They’ve got nothing going on unless they make it up or get a conspiracy.
So they are convinced, they’re convinced that they’re gonna get the truth out of Barr today. They are convinced that they’re gonna put so much pressure on this guy that he’s not gonna know what hit ’em. They are convinced that Barr is going to be begging them to go easy on him after they pummel him and pummel him and get him to admit that the report says that Trump did collude with Russia, that he’s lied about it in his summary and please forgive him.
They are convinced that this happened and they are convinced that they’re gonna make Barr say it. It’s amazing. (paraphrasing) “Well, I don’t think what you’re telling us is the truth. Your four-page summary, it was an immediate conclusion, you couldn’t possibly have known. We know there was collusion.”
“Well, there wasn’t.”
“But, but, but, the special counsel, two years, and we know, the New York Times.”
“There wasn’t any.”
“But, but, you know there was. There has to have been. None of this can be explained otherwise.”
“Sorry. You know, the special counsel even told us before he submitted the report that there wasn’t gonna be any collusion.”

The collusion delusion losing its legs.
I wasn’t able to listen to all of this today, thanks for putting it up.
I did hear Rush discussing whether the treatment of Republican presidents in the future will be what we’ve seen with George W. Bush in 2000 and PDJT in 2016. I thought he was a bit behind the curve, because the concept that Democrats treating every Republican President as illegitimate and his or her election as obtained fraudulently has been discussed here on several occasions.

You have to hand it to the democrats, they know how to keep on fighting. And when you do not have the slightest interest in adhering to the truth, a whole world of possibilities opens up to constrain reality to suit your purposes.
It is only Republicans who have friends across the aisle. For democrats, there are only enemies to be destroyed that are positioned cross the aisle.
It’s the confusion effusion of the collusion delusion.
I heard a joke today that will share here (sorry if it’s old humor) . . . a couple of liberals walk into a Georgetown bar and ask the bartender if there are any drink specials and the bartender says, “sure, the Russian Collusion is the hot drink right now.” One of the Libs says we’ll have that, and the bartender handed them each an empty glass.

I read the complete transcript as supplied on this post. I applaud Rush for covering the facts as they exist. For instance, while there was apparently Russian collusion from the DNC and Hillary’s campaign, it probably STILL wasn’t illegal. Thus, Rush avoids focusing on that brand of collusion.
After all, the whole point of the phrase “Russian collusion” was to plant the idea of direct ballot tampering in the minds of low information voters.
Instead, Rush jumps to the actual illegal activity which was the use of bogus information to obtain a FISA warrant, the FBI spying on the political opposition during a Presidential campaign, the attempts to implant spies in the opposition campaign, and the blatant attempts to entrap the opposition in politically embarrasing, but perhaps still legal, examples of “collusion”.

The Democrats are: (1) insane; (2) evil; and (3) treasonous.
There are still plenty of true believers out there. When the redacted report comes out, they’ll be yelling that all the collusion is in the redacted parts, count on it.

I listened to Mr. Barr this morning on CSPAN, I haven’t really vetted this man, I know he worked for Poppy Bush, but other than that, didn’t know much...I was very impressed...I laughed at how stupid these libs acted...
Mr. Barr just answered the questions, calm, relaxed and the more calm and relaxed, the more stupid the libs got..it was a sight to see and I enjoyed the ‘show’ and laughed and laughed, what a great way to start the day...
This should happen about twice a week, it would relax people and it’s like a free movie, grab the popcorn and a cup of coffee and relax...
I’ve read that Trump and his people had to pursue Barr for some time to get him to come back and do this job. He doesn’t need it any more than Trump needed to be President, they are both doing it to serve and save the country they love.
I remain convinced that in the end, many FReepers will be ordering up the Crow Sandwich when the full knowledge of Rosenstein’s role comes to light. But today, Barr acknowledged that RR in his role as supervisor of the SC has been aware for quite some time that there would not be a finding of collusion, and that makes all those foot-stomping tantrums demanding his resignation seem pretty silly. As a few of us have said all along, if Trump wanted him fired, he’d fire him. We see here that he was doing the job that Trump needed done.
I haven’t really heard anything about Mr. Barr … but I liked what I seen today... I would like to see more of his style with others that go before the ‘loons’ in Our Government...
