Cain’s real crime is being a strong, independent and media savvy public supporter of POTUS. Think of how he was treated the next time you about GOP senate confirmed “Trump judges.” The Senate GOP want POTUS to have as few allies as possible on his flanks. It’s that simple.

My advice to Trump is “pass”. You don’t need this.
I awlays knew Cain’s accusations of sexual dalliances would come back to haunt him after he said he had an investigative team ready to prove them to be lies and then just disappeared.
Maybe the political value of this pick makes it worthwhile. Force the Democrats and some GOP dopes to explain why they don’t want a black man on the Fed board.
