Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx described “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett as a “washed up celeb who lied to cops” in texts messages released Tuesday by her office in response to a public-records request by the Chicago Tribune.
Foxx compared Smollett’s case to her office’s pending indictments against R&B singer R. Kelly in text messages to Joseph Magats, her top assistant, on March 8, the paper reported
“Pedophile with 4 victims 10 counts. Washed up celeb who lied to cops, 16 (counts),” she wrote. “… Just because we can charge something doesn’t mean we should.”
I think Ms. Foxx is going to be going under the microscope very soon now...

She’s reached a point where she can’t make sound judgement calls, or work for the general public. She needs to run for US Senator, or state Governor.

Chicago cops hate her with a passion because she won’t charge bad guys and keeps letting scumbags off just because they are black. This guy, for one, should be in prison.

Kathy Griffin was a washed up comedian until her publicity stunt. She knew exactly what the reaction was going to be.
It was a lot more than simply lying to cops. He said he was assaulted by MAGA hat-wearing whites. He was willing to testify in court against whoever the law put in the dock. He was ready to put away innocent people to pay for his hate-crime hoax.
