Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates said Sunday that President Trump would likely be indicted on obstruction of justice if he were not president.
“I’ve been a prosecutor for nearly 30 years and I can tell you I’ve personally prosecuted obstruction cases on far, far less evidence than this," Yates, whom Trump fired after she refused to defend his travel ban targeting several Muslim-majority countries, said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
“I believe if he were not the president of the United States he would likely be indicted on obstruction.”
Yates's comments come a few weeks after the redacted report on special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was released to the public.
The probe did not uncover evidence of coordination between Trump's campaign and the Kremlin.

However, if Trump were not President, nobody would care if he colluded with the Russians or not! And if they never looked in to it, he would never have spoken to any investigator, so they couldn’t accuse him of covering up.

There is exactly zero evidence of any illegal “ obstruction” by pdjt. Zero in the public record. And Note that she didn’t cite any secret evidence she might have. If she’s prosecuted American citizens with “less than” zero evidence against them, she belongs in prison NOW for her abuse of prosecutorial authority

What is REALLY SAD is that Republicans seem totally unable to learn from the tactics of the Left and instead of saying something similar about Brennan, for example, they’ll instead say something like ‘we’re not perfect, but we’re not quite as bad as those mean Democrats’.
Poor thing. All those years as a prosecutor, and this is all she has to show for it. Pitiful...
