Monday on Fox News Channels Your World, Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, there were compelling reasons for Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller to appear before Congress to testify about his investigation.
The California Republican said he would like to know about the inspiration that triggered the investigation.
Partial transcript as follows:
CAVUTO: Do you think what a lot of people are waiting to hear, what got this investigation going? And then maybe Democrats
MCCLINTOCK: Yes.
CAVUTO: your colleagues, are very concerned about what they will reveal, hence this sort of brushfire, preoccupation with everything Barr said, with what everything Mueller pointed out in the report, to deflect? What do you think of that?
MCCLINTOCK: Well, thats the other shoe thats about to drop.
We now know that this was a lie. Thats all laid out very clearly. Despite 22 months of investigations, millions of dollars spent, they were not able to find any evidence of collusion.
So we now know that was just a great hoax.
CAVUTO: Well, maybe not collusion, but a number of people are going to jail, or worse, right? I mean, not on the collusion issue, youre right.
(CROSSTALK)
MCCLINTOCK: But, again, the whole hoax.
CAVUTO: But do you think that, by extending this and getting into it, that there is a risk for both parties that they overdo it?
MCCLINTOCK: Well, I think its important that we find out how this hoax developed and how it was used by senior officials in the FBI, in the intelligence agencies, in the Department of Justice and perhaps at the White House itself to influence our elections process, and, having failed to do that, having it using it to undermine the president of the United States.

It's very rare , in the history of the world, for ANY head of state , to be held accountable for their crimes by the citizens of their own country.
Get ready. The date was Jan 5 2016 at the Susan rice meeting. There was a seditionist treasonous conspiracy to overthrow my vote.
Wray needs to be fired.
He’s a colossal joke and a waste of space.
Bkmk
So, if theyll pursue a lie this big for this long, what else would they lie about?
Climate change?
Yes. You are absolutely right.
Right!
The Constitutional Crisis was on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009.
The myriad crimes to follow culminating in the failed coup on President Trump all flowed from that.

Some of the inane stupid stuff that comes out of Cavuto’s pie hole makes me marvel at how he ever got and keeps that gig. He twists himself into a pretzel in his never Trumper effort to absolve the Rats of the crimes they pull off.
Why should they?
The GOP doesn't want Trump as POTUS anyway....never did.
We finally have our two party system. President Trump vs the government (aka-Deep State)
If there is no consequences for breaking the law the entire foundation of this country is undermined, so yes, we need to find out how this started.
Especially when it's the history of the Democrats to overplay things.
Especially when it's the history of Republicans to run away from conflict with Democrats and the media.

You have a lot to learn.
I’m guessing the next big lie will be the continued “controversy” over Trump “refusing” to release his tax records. It is settled law that a president doesn’t need to turn them over “just because”.
I can hear it now (unless it has already been said): “Trump is hiding something from us with this refusal. What does he know and when did he know it!?”
McClintock may be right in concept. But I hate giving the Demonrats the platform to spin and misdirect. I would prefer to see indictments from Justice. But frankly, I am not sure if anyone in government can any longer be trusted.
If short on lamp posts, any tree will do!
A huge dittos!
“It’s very rare , in the history of the world, for ANY head of state , to be held accountable for their crimes by the citizens of their own country.”
Just for fun, you should take a look at South Korea’s recent history.
Quick quote from the NYT: “Almost all of South Koreas presidents have seen their reputations tarnished toward the end of their tenure or during their retirement because of corruption scandals involving them, their relatives or aides. Mr. Lee is the fourth former president to have been arrested on corruption charges since the 1990s.”
I'm hung on on this idea of "If they lied about Russia, what else have they lied about? Climate change?"
Similarly, "If they released Trump's tax returns, imagine what Obama would have done with your medical records."
"How much government should any of us trust?"
The answer more and more is 'not much'.
I think this is a watershed moment.
