An engaged couple in Missouri say theyre shocked and saddened after a restaurant in St. Charles County refused to host their rehearsal dinner upon learning they were in a same-sex relationship.

If I have a restaurant and a couple wants to rent the facility, I am not going to tell them no. Their money is green and the place is for rent. It is not like they are doing anything illegal.
And you have that right. More power to you. But don't discount the possibility that you might change your mind the first time you witness the debauchery that occurs at a "pride" event. You might find that you no longer want your good name associated with such antics. And that is also your right, until the gaystapo and black-robed tyrants take it away. The flip side of the coin to the "Freedom of Association" we enjoy as a result of the 1st Amendment, and upheld in "NAACP v. Alabama", is the "Freedom of Disassociation". The moment that is taken away, there is no longer freedom of speech or religion. I'd rather have Civil War II than that.

I think you’re absolutely right. “You don’t want my business? Very well, there are other — likely even better venues where I can hold my event”.

Yes. For every restauranteur, baker, caterer, photographer, limo driver, etc who refuses to get involved with same sex weddings there are dozens of others willing to fill that niche. Would anyone demand Jewish owned establishments get involved with neo nazi weddings, or Black owned businesses to patronize White supremacist couples?

What if a chapter of Black Panthers or Nazis or the Klan wanted to hold a meeting there?
Would the place be "forced" to host the meeting?

Gun shops and/or manufacturers arent illegal either, but that doesnt stop banks and CC companies from refusing to serve them. So these biatches can reap what the liberals have sown.

My sentiments too. As long as they can collectively mind their p's and q's, and obey the law, I'll do business with them. As long as I don't have to participate in their ridiculous charade.

To reply to the headline of the article, I would quote a phrase from the SOUTH PACIFIC song, “Bloody Mary”, “...now ain’t that too d**n bad!”
