About three years ago, my mother (RIP) was shocked when one of her doctors wouldn’t accept cash. I’m not even sure that’s legal.

The only time I use cash is to buy an occasional $1 Lottery ticket.
Checks? Same story.
My apartment building suddenly decided not to accept credit card rent payments anymore, so I write a check now.
Before that, I had not written check in almost five years.
Before that, the last two checks I wrote were to renew my Passport and my Drivers License, because almost no government agencies accept cards, or, they did not accept them five years ago, anyway.
Unless a person is doing something illegal or embarrassing, I have no idea why they carry cash, in the USA, anyway.
My local marijuana store is cash only, but so far I have not bought any, partly because it was really hard to stop smoking it 30 years ago, and partly because holding smoke inside your lungs cannot be good for your long term health.
People are just now figuring this out?
It is the forerunner to the Mark. Those who read their Bibles understand that the beast causes (forces) the receiving of the Mark by stopping buying or selling without it. Also the taking of the Mark is a sign of those who worship the beast. It seems that those taking the Mark will understand that it means submission to the man and the system.

NYC lost power for just a few hours a couple days ago and they were freaking out. Imagine if they’d lost power for weeks and there was no “real cash” and no low skilled cashiers who understood how to count cash and give change to the few out of touch old pensioners who had cash on hand.
Muggers will have to carry hatchets to chop off hands.
If all these chipped humans have to do is wave they hands to make a purchase then there’s nothing stopping someone else using a device to scan every’s hand at the mall, the grocery store, the subway or just wandering down Main Street and become a millionaire in 10 minutes. The victims won’t know they’ve had their bank account depleted until they’re arguing with the Starbucks’ barista when they can’t pay.
The only place where I consistently use cash to pay my barber.
I recently had to pay cash for my lunches in the cafeteria of the factory I was visiting. I collected a pocketfull of worthless change .
I pay with cash when ever I can. Screw credit/debit cards. Merely tracking devices.
Why would you ever want to hand the government and potentially hackers the ability to cut you off from your money as well as the ability to see every single last purchase you ever make?
In such a world, the government can paralyze you by freezing your access to accounts. Now you’re hungry, travel-restricted and worrying about losing your residence until you comply.
