MSNBC’s Matthews: It Will Be ‘Second Term or Prison Term’ for Trump
Breitbart ^ | Jeff Poor

Posted on 07/25/2019 6:05:01 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Not everyone was convinced that Wednesday’s hearings before the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees did not bode well for Democrat’s anti-Trump causes. In fact, very few at MSNBC were willing to acknowledge it.

On his Wednesday “Hardball” broadcast, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews went as far to say it was either a second term or a prison term, meaning that if President Donald Trump does not win a second term in 2020, he will face criminal prosecution, be convicted and sentenced to a prison term.

We listen to the NBC affiliate in the morning for the traffic reports. And guess what the story concerning the Mueller testimony is???? Yep, you’re correct. That Mueller didn’t indict because of the DOJ rule that you cannot indict a sitting President. And of course, they didn’t talk at all about the walk back. Our national news outlets are so riddled with fake news......so sad some people believe everything they say.

“I wonder if “Chrissy” travels with security, or bodyguards.”

If he does, they’d be like the amateurs “protecting” david hogg.

.

Republican Arizona Rep. Debbie Lesko accused former special counsel Robert Mueller of using little more than “regurgitated press stories” to compile an obstruction of justice case against President Donald Trump.

“Mr. Mueller, rather than purely relying on the evidence provided by witnesses and documents, I think you relied a lot on media. I’d like to know how many times you cited The Washington Post in your report,” Lesko began.

Mueller was unsure how many times, and Lesko noted that she had counted 60 times that the Washington Post was cited in the report. Lesko also counted 75 times that Mueller’s report cited the New York Times and 25 times that the report cited Fox News.

“I’ve got to say, it looks like Volume II is mostly regurgitated press stories,” Lesko concluded. “Honestly, there’s almost nothing in Volume II that I couldn’t already hear or know simply by having a $50 cable news subscription. However, your investigation cost the American taxpayers $25 million.”

I’ve thought from day one that the “obstruction” part was pretty funny - and telling. First, the whole concept depends on obstructing to hide info regarding an actual crime that was committed. Second, legally there is no such thing as “attempted” obstruction. You either obstruct or you don’t. It’s not like murder, battery, etc. It’s more like “lying under oath”. You can’t be charged with “attempting to lie under oath”/

i.e. if the “obstruction” claim is what they hang their hat on, they have nothing, no matter how loudly and often they make the claim.

Democrat scum will hound Trump to the grave to make an example out of him - for defying the deep state globalists.

And gutless Republican politicians will say nothing.

Do you think they understand yet, that by telling the world the President can be Indicted and Imprisoned once he leaves office for supposed crimes committed while in office, they are Opening the Door for TRUMP to Put Barry the Petulant Muslim Man Child in PRISON for his Part as Ringleader in this Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Government via “Russian Collusion”??

If Chris Matthews or anyone else really believes that Trump will be indicted once he’s out of office then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to talk to them about.

Why is that? It is trivial for an overzealous prosecutor to indict someone, especially someone as hated, and for whom a suitably deranged grand jury can be assembled. I can think of at least half a dozen charges that can be thrown at him. None of them may even be true, none may be provable in a real court trial, but indictments against a private citizen are a piece of cake.

It would be the lifelong dream of a New York prosecutor to indict Trump, and let me assure you, they will try, especially if he loses the 2020 election.
