My Hemi Magnum just died.

Maybe whole motor, maybe “only” valve seats/rods/etc

It’s just out there, quiet and still.

:’(

Hehehe.

I’ve heard that version maybe a time or two. Yeah, it’s good.

My musical tastes are all over the map. From traditional Gospel to Southern Gospel, to classic rock (in general) to classical music to a bit of country. And a whole lot of stuff from the 1960’s time.

BUT I never mentioned the Jeff Bridges movie.....

I could have, but I didn’t......

California Rep. Ted Lieu said Thursday he believes that “somebody got to” Robert Mueller

He's right. During the lunch break, somebody told Mueller how stupid he appeared and how inconsistent his words were.

They told Mueller the truth about how bad his testimony was going.

Mueller, realizing how bad his words would sound when the truth came out and fearing the consequences, decided to retract and correct his morning testimony. Smart move on Mueller's part, but it would have been better if he had spoken correctly in the first place.

$3000 and up.

Broken hearted.

Harley’s useless in rain, snow and cold.

Can’t haul the dogs to the vet with it, either.

And that ^right there^ is what’s freaking me out.

Have a giant old Suburban with no AC...and that thing just popped a gas line in a parking lot tonight.

Such an exciting 25 mile drive home.

Go fast to outrun the gas pouring out under me.

Yay.

Seriously considering a GoFundMe because I cannot afford a motor and one of my dogs has laryngeal paralysis and heat is her enemy.

She tried to die last month and we got her to the ER in time but she MUST be kept cool and calm at all times or she’ll literally suffocate.

I could not live with myself if she died just because I couldn’t get her help in time.

Majorly sucks.

"Sure would explain why Mueller has been buying romance novels, tomatoes, No-Doz and Ramen Noodles in a Cup."

I thought he was spending his idle time reading the text messages he deleted from Strzok and Page's phones.

You would love my iPods.

I have literally everything from every kind of pop/rock/funk across decades, to Merle/Johnny/Marty to Gregorian chant to all of Ennio Morricone’s spaghetti stuff.

People try to play “Stump the band” with me and I rarely lose.

:D

Someone once had a game identifying songs from the 60’s and the 70’s.

Yes, I did win, as a matter of fact. LOL

I wish we could hang out.

I loved “Named That Tune” show from the 70s.

Years ago, I used to annoy people by asking them to think of a band with a color in their name.

And the game was on.

:)

Secret to my success:

Hardly anyone has heard of Blue Oyster Cult’s former incarnation, Soft White Underbelly.

When they were sure they’d named the last of them, I’d whip that one out.

:D

I’m still trying to remember a song from 1969 or so. I haven’t been able to spot it on Billboard charts when I’ve casually looked.

It wasn’t a song so much as a group of songs. Bits played in a story line. Bits of other popular songs.

I made my own around 1970. It was pretty good (Dad liked it too - well of course! LOL).

Whatever cassette it was on and my little cassette player are long, long, long gone though.

The house is still there (saw it last fall, again). About the 3rd time in the last 5-6 years. Make trips there a few times.

However, the house of the girl I had a crush on way back then is long gone. It was a really cool house made of some sort of mixed wood. When I saw it 6 years ago, only 1/2 of it was there with some other half that totally did not look right. Last year, the whole thing was completely leveled / razed.

Was in the area and wondered if I could find it again. Found my 5th and 6th grade school. Then I used the rental SUV to pace off the walk I did from junior high back to the house after basketball practice. Yes, in the snow at least one time. That was a bit of a walk. Just driving it, I couldn’t believe it, LOL.

Junior high school looks almost the same as 1971.

I probably only know Moby Grape. LOL

Well yeah, cuz grape is not a color....it’s a flavor.

:D

Did the song included snippets of I Shot The Sheriff and One Of These Nights?

Some dude made a comedy song in the mid-70s using bits of pop songs.

I seem to recall a couple of guys in my neighborhood (next door) - brothers, we were listening to the song. Latest would have been about 1969. Possibly 1968.

My sister was dating a guy at the time - he got a new car each year.

1967 - Firebird or Camaro
1968 - One of the above instead of the other (don’t remember the order
1969 - Mustang Mach 1 - red - ooooh

(though 1970 is my favorite)
