The “Never Trump” movement has a new ally: hedge fund boss Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired in 2017 after serving 11 days as communications director in President Donald Trump’s White House.
Anti-Trump pundit and veteran Republican operative Bill Kristol confirmed to CNBC in a few brief text messages that he has spoken to Scaramucci since the SkyBridge Capital founder had a public falling out with Trump this summer. Asked whether he has spoken to Scaramucci about trying to find another presidential candidate to replace Trump on the top of the GOP ticket next year, Kristol said: “Yup.”

As does ambition. I suspect Mooch is working some angle that is yet unknown, could be as simple as a book or movie deal. For people like Ann Coulter and him, there is no return on investment for being status quo. The only way they get TV time or invites to the popular media spotlight is by saying things that are controversial. Ann has turned the process of making money from controversy into a cottage industry, her only motivation is to promote the stock price for Ann Coulter Inc.

For sure there is no money in being a Trump supporter - the media is only interested in hearing from those who can be an interesting adversary and appeal to the Trump-hating liberal audience.

Yet Scaramucci, joined Goldman Sachs in 89 right out of law school and left just seven years later to start a hedge fund. Today he has a net worth in the hundreds of millions. Interesting isn't it?
Anthony Scaramucci is an idiot. And Bill Krystol is a traitor, both to America but also to Israel and conservatives.
How about Scaramucci for President and Kristol for VP on the un-Trump ticket? Vice-versa?
You do realize this guy was worth hundreds of millions of dollars long before anyone ever knew who he was? This guy may do some of this stuff as a side hustle to amuse himself but lets be real, he does not need to do any of this media stuff for money. He doesn't need money.
