Payback: Democrats rig Tulsi Gabbard right out of their next debate
American Thinker ^ | August 22, 2019 | Monica Showalter

Iconoclastic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard did the unforgiveable in the eyes of the hidebound Democratic Party establishment: She knocked down one their favorites, Kamala Harris.

...

Now, through the miracle of rule-rigging, the Democratic establishment has maneuvered to exact a price from her: No appearance at the next Democratic debate. No more taking down the next favorite.

...

Isn't Julian Castro polling around something like zero? Maybe he's there for affirmative action purposes, alongside his lockstep extremism.

Two, Google seems to have already done a number on Gabbard, taking down her paid-for campaign ads during the first debate when Internet viewers' interest in her spiked to the highest levels of all the campaign. Google, most of the reporting has neglected to note, is brimming with former Obama administration operatives. Democrats, the pillars, the money, the establishment. Might that suggest some sort of fix in for Gabbard as well? It's pretty obvious something is going on.

...

Right after Tulsi finished the second debate, Kamala Harris really did utterly tumble in the polls. Democratic voters, now aware of her incredibly corrupt record as a prosecutor - endorsing false testimony, keeping people in jail beyond their terms, throwing the impoverished in prison for marijuana crimes while admitting she enjoyed the weed herself -- are avoiding her now like a bad smell. Harris is damaged goods now, and she won't recover

...

Democrats are still the same old Democrats, and up to their old rigging tricks, putting their thumbs down on the scale for the candidates they prefer. They've done it before, against Bernie Sanders, and now they are doing it again to avenge Harris.

Exactly. Why is this DEMOCRAT even being discussed? This DEMOCRAT doesn’t HAVE to be a DEMOCRAT. She CHOSE her party affiliation.

It just goes to show that because she’s decent looking, she gets a “kitty” pass from the weak minded.

She’s there to provide “normalcy”.

“Oh, look... HERE’S a “moderate” democrat we can get behind!!!”

Same with ol’ White Bread Biden. Just there to fool the white democrats that still hanging on into voting for him; then as soon as they get elected it’s back to bashing “the white man”.

She’s one of them. She’s their new version of “The War Hero”... except the completely psychotic wing ain’t having it.

Glad she didn't get hired by Trump, it could easily have been a disaster.

“...t could easily have been a disaster....”

It WOULD have been a disaster. She’s one of THEM, and still is by her own choice.

Even if she jumped ship and came over the right side of things, she’s still a lib.

We have Country to repair.

All noted.

Like I said - She’s STILL a democrat, identifies with them, and is one of them.

Ergo, not to be trusted.

I would say EVERY RAT on stage aside from Tulsi counts as the "completely psychotic wing". She's pretty much the ONLY one who has accepted the Russians didn't "hack" the election, for example. Apparently having a rational person on stage didn't sit well with the rest of them.

If Joe Biden is a "moderate", then Osama bin Laden is Jewish.

“...EVERY RAT on stage aside from Tulsi counts as the “completely psychotic wing...”

You got that right for sure, Billy.

They’re all insane commie jerkoffs at this point.

But again... SHE knows what they are, and yet still identifies as a Dem. Not to be trusted.

Still, I hate to see the wackos push her out. She is a vet, and very proactive for Veterans Rights.

“”...hate to see the wackos push her out...”

Nobody is pushing her out. She hasn’t changed party affiliation, she’s voluntarily STILL a democrat. I judge folks by the company they keep.

The day she comes over to the side of the aisle that’s trying to REPAIR THE COUNTRY and undo the Obama damage, then maybe I’ll see her differently.

Until then... she’s one of them.

I find it bizarre as hell you think she would take votes from Trump.

I agree with GOPster, F this b, she’s the seed of a traitor to the GOP. On a couple things maybe she’s the most sensible of the lot, “Russia” and all that. But the far left !adores! her for several reasons and he voting record is garbage just like the rest.

Despite the bizarre fixation some on the right have with her, (because she doesn’t look like a half melted old shoe?) I’ve never heard her described as a “moderate”. I would call d-bag John Delaney the most “moderate”.

She seems to have kneecapped Kamala, so I thank her for that but she’s polling in the gutter and has a zero% chance of the rat nomination no matter how many master debates she’s in so BFD if she’s not in the next one.

Senile Biden, Sanders, Warren, or maybe fading Kamala will be the rat nominee, the rest may as well be side show freaks.

ACU ratings:
Tulsi Gabbard (HI) - 92% leftist (’18); 96% leftist (’17); lifetime - 92.64% leftist

John Delaney (MD) - 88% leftist (’18); 96% leftist (’17); lifetime - 92.59% leftist

So Delaney is 0.05% more to the “right” of Gabbard. Still hard-core far-left.

We literally supplied them with TOW missiles and flew top cover for them in Syria. We switched positions on Al Qeida in Libya. That’s where the State, DOD, and CIA all started supporting black flag waving Al Qeida.

Yep. The truth hurts here and the truth is that we shamefully and disgracefully supported the wrong side in Syria thinking that if we renamed them "Syrian Freedom Fighters" that nobody would notice.

they now avoid the debate that both of these two are not Natural Born Citizens.

There is no significant debate taking place on the NBC status of Tulsi Gabbard or Kamala Harris.

*******************************************************

To be perfectly clear, she would take more votes from Trump than she would the dem candidate, if she ran as an independent.

The fact that you would phrase your response as you did (’bizarre as hell’) tells me responding is probably a waste of time but what the heck.

Hillary just about beat Trump. Any nut that voted for evil is voting for evil again. Meaning they are voting for the dem candidate again. Most of those who simply couldn't vote for Hillary probably voted for Trump or stayed home. Those are the votes we are concerned with. Trump was largely an unknown quantity when elected (as far as a candidate). The media has been working every minute to portray Trump in as bad a light as possible. To information and truth seeking voters like those on FR, the media is not changing our minds. But those other voters are vulnerable. Now here comes Gabbard. Attractive, very well spoken, and a military vet. She will look like a good alternative to those who buy into the media narrative about Trump but still want to vote. Please now tell me why that opinion is as bizarre as hell and why Gabbard running as independent would be a good thing for Trump.
