Thanks for the link and the update, Kathy.
Glad there weren’t as many injured as initially reported, though 26 is still too many.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

How was yesterday’s romp with Gizmo? Uneventful or did he give you a run for your money? :-)

It was terrible. Darn wind! Blew them out of their jump zone.

According to a local weatherman, he didn’t think the weather was the cause. No strong winds.

Hm....I had heard earlier that it was. Maybe a miscalculation by the pilot? I expect we’ll know something before too long.

Steve read the weatherman’s post during his broadcast.

“A weather-related problem would seem unlikely due to there being light winds aloft tonight.”

Well, I kept him on a leash so he couldn't run off and chase anything. We walked the beach and the rocks and all that stuff. I think it's supposed to be little cooler today.

We may be wearing jump suits before too long. :-D

Thanks for alerting me. I don’t watch any tv news. I wouldn’t have heard until the morning news on the radio.

Smart man! Saved a little wear and tear on yourself from the outset. LOL

The cold front that’s supposed to come through here later today looks like it’s still in your neck o’ the woods. Maybe you’ll get lucky and cool off. It doesn’t seem to be moving much so I reckon we’ll stay hot a little longer than forecast. *sigh*

Not looking forward to wearing jumpsuits just yet. LOL! Just a little moderate temp for a while would be nice.

I don’t watch TV news at night. Only for a couple of hours during the afternoons. I wouldn’t have known about it til tomorrow either if not for LUV’s post.

You were the first person I thought of when I started listening and found out that the soldiers were based in Anchorage.

Could be. He showed the fella’s Tweet as he read it. I went back to read it so I could quote what he’d said.

Something sure went wrong and I’m glad no more were injured than there were.

Really short night last night...I sat in my chair to eat and fell asleep. Haven’t done much better all evening. LOL!

Headed for bed in a few.

LOL! I didn’t even notice. I was paying more attention to Raimis and Milda as they struggle to get their new nest started.

Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow.
