Excerpted per rules. Also, from another article linked in this one:
3. If Hunter Biden’s role wasn’t illegal, was it ethical?

It was not ethical, according to Sarah Chayes, author of “Thieves of State: Why Corruption Threatens Global Security.” In an Atlantic opinion piece, she suggests that Burisma was using the Biden name to scrub its reputation and Hunter Biden was cashing in. She sees the Ukraine case as an example of a global culture of U.S. “consultants” – including former Obama and Bush officials – being paid large sums to help legitimize theft, by “trading on their connections and their access to insider policy information – usually by providing services to kleptocrats...,” she writes.

Just because there is no evidence that something is illegal doesn't make it right.

No evidence?

Does that include his bragging about it on camera?

After watching the Glenn Beck video on the whole affair, I am likely to see more worthy insight by reading through the phone book than from a place like the Christian Science Monitor.

“ There’s no evidence that the Bidens did anything illegal in Ukraine.”

That’s the frigging problem.

I’ve said for 40 years that just because something is legal, doesn’t make it moral. And, conversely, just because something is illegal, doesn’t make it immoral.

The laws are arbitrary. Some are tied directly to morality, but many are not. And they can get us into trouble when applied in a “one size fits all” fashion.

An example: In my state it is illegal to have an “opened” alcohol container in your car. However, I had a bag of glass containers in my car to take to the recycling center. One of them is a big Costco Scotch bottle. There is even still scotch in the bottle - a drop or three coating the glass inside.

I’m breaking the law by doing that. But am I breaking the spirit of the law? Absolutely not. Nevertheless, if I’m pulled over by a local cop that really hates me, and he sees that bottle sticking out of the bag, I’m in big trouble.

On a side note, this is how I see this three year impeachment farce.

...halo of affection ... he {Biden}has presented himself as a return to “normalcy” after the turmoil of the Trump years.

What's 'normal' in DC is corrupt elites spread the wealth around to their loser family and friends.

Out in flyover if you're incompetent you don't run the company for long... 'cause it goes under.

In DC it doesn't matter how incompetent you are IF you choose the right parents ... Biden's drug addicted son 'earns' $50,000 a month when he can't speak Ukrainian AND he knows nothing about the energy industry? No problem - he sells his name and his country out for big bucks while daddy lies about 'not knowing'...

Hunter Biden’s “role” was certainly illegal— aside from the kickback he gave his da for “juice”. Zero competence, and 3 other names... make it illegal:

Biden’s Son, Whitey Bulger’s Nephew And John Kerry’s Stepson ...and the Chinese giving them all money, to control them, and BLACKMAIL Quid Pro Joe... forever. The long game.
