I know a teacher there. 1/8 of his students don’t come to class regularly and the administration allows it. They have to be passed. He is worried about running into them when he is out.

From open borders, allowing illegals to flood the country, to raising taxes to pay for illegals welfare, to depravity in pushing LGBTABCXYZ rights and telling grown men they can identify as women and prowl women's bathrooms and weak males dominating women's sports, to taking guns away from law-abiding citizens to assuage the liberals' guilt over mass shootings, to reparations for blacks after taxpayers have forked over close to $25 trillion in poverty programs, mostly to blacks, since the passage of the 1964 civil rights bill, to increased homelessness, drug-use and filth and pestilence in urban centers.
None of it positive and yet liberals still vote for the democRATS. When will it stop? When will the American Left acknowledge they are destroying America?
I am a bit more west of Fairfax, in Fauquier County. We are seeing it here, too. As the libs saturate Fairfax and nearby areas, they move west and south for the cheaper taxes and less unaffordable housing, and for the better quality of life for their kids as they grow up. Trouble is, they bring their socialism with them. They run for offices and demand they same lifestyles as they had in the cities.
The canker grows and spreads out. Fauquier and Culpeper counties have the MS-13 gangs, the perpetually offended libs, ever ready to sue and the elected officials always eager to go left on all topics. Tax increases, social engineering.
The Democrat party is their transmission belt, already in place in all the counties, cities and towns. The Dem’s well-oiled machinery of cash promises for, and dog-whistles of offences against various voting blocks is efficiently winning election after election.
It is such a winning tactic that even many of the pubs are going left to appease the ‘new center’, as it is perceived.
Trump has done so much for the country, even at the local level. Low unemployment, better judges, etc. But as the socialists gain more footholds each election cycle, we can expect to see inner city woes come to our rural communities at a faster pace.

My sister and BIL lives in Louden Cty. 20 years ago their neighborhood was white and friendly. Then the Pakis and Indians and 20 other assorted cultures moved in. No one talks to each other. Won’t even say hi. All the kids sit at different tables at school. Pakis at one, Indians at another
They moved out to another new all white area in the country where everyone is white and friendly.
My ex liberal sister used to tout diversity. No longer.

I left FC in 2015 after living their for 36 years. The author is spot on. I still have a rental property there and the property taxes are skyrocketing to pay for this liberal utopia. In 2015 the FC school budget was $2.5 billion. $100 million of that was for ESOL costs. One third of the residents of FC are foreign born.
I lived there from 85 until 2003, shortly after the sniper. Annandale was mostly Korean immigrants by the time we left. And that was 16 years ago.

I’ve seen some serious - and nefarious - changes to what was once a reliably conservative state. The cities north of Fredricksburg look like turd-world hovels. Gone are the pristine neighborhoods and American-owned stores, and in their place are trashy slums with Section-8 apartments, low-grade strip malls and foreigners everywhere. It’s not America anymore up there.

I just saw a similar situation in a suburb north of Cincinnati. I was there ten years ago for a tennis tournament, and I was there again this summer. I stayed at the same motel and visited the same Wal Mart each time. This time around was a shock. The Wal Mart looked like a combination of Central America and the Middle East. I’m not exaggerating when I say at least 90% of the people in the store were yammering away in Spanish or had burkas, headscarves or Muslim beards. When I saw another white person, it was a surprise. This was a complete change from ten years ago. I felt like an American tourist in a foreign land.
