The law will outlaw purposeful crushing, burning, drowning, suffocation, impalement or other violence causing serious bodily injury to animals. Too bad this won't apply to conservative Americans, or those Antifa protesters would be too scared to do their mayhem.

find someone that is cruel to animals and you find the person willing to do anything in the pursuit of power... a good man abhors the sight of senseless cruelty those that are lesser ignore it when confronted with its reality and evil takes pleasure in the thought of committing it.
god bless all that realize this truth.

Take care here, laws on pets (cruelty, dog or cock fighting, etc.) are already in place on this.
Goodby to hunting, fishing, trapping, rodent poisoming.
Creeping gradualism in elevation of animals to God-like status, eventually. More PETA bullying.
Can I shoot squirrels chewing into my gables and destroying my attic? Or will I be forced to pay an arm and a leg for a licensed exterminator? Huh?

The part that could be bothesome in this bill is this:
"(A) depicts animal crushing"
"depicts" such as movies and/or animation?
(d) Exceptions.
(1) IN GENERAL.This section does not apply with regard to any conduct, or a visual depiction of that conduct, that is
(A) a customary and normal veterinary or agricultural husbandry practice;
(B) the slaughter of animals for food;
(C) hunting, trapping, fishing, predator control, or pest control;
(D) medical or scientific research; or
(E) necessary to protect the life of person or property of a person from a serious threat caused by an animal.

It seems to me that this would fit the constitutional definition of being a State Issue.

Would serious injury include dipping a cat’s tail in gasoline, and setting fire to it? I asked, when seeing a cat with a stiffened, blackened, and bony tail in an alley where Illegals are regularly hired.
Illegals place a low value on any life—however “dumb” it might be.

I’m not sure why this requires action by the feds. The law will likely be abused to persecute humans.
