Interesting take on this. I didn't know that that many Dem senators might vote to acquit.

Couldn’t happen to a “nicer” pack of coup co-conspirators.

Agreed. While possible I’d certainly take this with a big grain of salt.

Pelosi has allowed far left radicals from districts that aren't remotely at risk to take over the House. Even she knew impeachment was going to be a bust that the president would capitalize on.

Georgia Republican Sen. David Perdue said Thursday that a “couple” Senate Democrats will likely vote to acquit Trump during the Senate impeachment trial.

Sad that we even need to discuss acquitting President Trump of things that, even if they happened, aren't crimes.

Could she be refusing to send the articles because Ruth Ginseburg life on this earth is coming to an end. When it does she will send it to the Senate in slowing down the process of appointing another Supreme Court Justice.

Possible, but not probable in my opinion.

I’m still inclined at this point to believe that the Democrat senators are going to vote almost universally against the president.

First off, it is second nature for the Rats to double down when they make a tactical error.
I also think that their reasoning, if you can call it reasoning, will be that they’ve already blown it and it will look even worse if they don’t all stick together.

I think they’re also working hard to ensure that at least a couple of Republican Senators vote to convict. Then they will make that their entire PR campaign afterwards. As far as Democrats and the media are concerned two Republicans voting against the president is proof that he deserves to be removed from office. Watch and see if I’m not right.

Who might they fear the wrath from if they did, Chuck Schumer?

Let’s have the Senate do its job. Then it’s on to the 2020 landslide, where more and more people will want to be a part of making history by voting for PDT.

There are a few concepts to think about:
1) Basically move to dismiss the impeachment (short timeframe) in the Senate since it has no basis, then allow Barr, Durham, and others prosecute the hell out of the conspirators, or,

2) Elongate the trial in the Senate, bring in the Bidens, go into scorched earth mode to acquit Trump, but it won’t have the same effects as #1 above since the Senate can’t imprison anyone, or,

3) Play along with the double-tap, Schiff-Nadler-Two-Step per the #FlamingBagsOfDogPoop Theory below, going after Trump and Pence in one stroke:

The Full and Complete Coup D’etat to Impeach Trump and Pence

The Flaming Bags of Dog Poop Impeachment:
Nancy sets fire to a flaming bag of dog poop at the front door of the Senate (impeach Trump), but delays ringing the doorbell. This buys time for Schiff and Nadler to put together a second bag of flaming dog poop (impeach Pence).

Nancy sets up the second bag of dog poop at the back door of the Senate. Sooner or later, Nancy rings the front doorbell. Mitch stamps out the fire at the front door. Then Nancy rings the doorbell at the Senate’s back door, forcing Mitch to track dog poop throughout the Senate. Mitch stamps out the second flaming bag of dog poop, getting his shoes even dirtier.

Since Nancy is used to slogging through feces in her own district, she prances up to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to occupy the White House in triumph.

If successful, AG Barr will be fired, but will first whisper in Nancy’s ear, “All glory is fleeting....”

The increasingly negative stories about Hunter Biden are making their way through the recent news cycles.

Any Democrat Senator, who can manage to take 5 minutes off their Trump Derangement Syndrome, now knows WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, that a Senate impeachment trial will end up headlining the Biden scandal more than anything else. They also know that a trial will very likely prove Ukrainian interference into the 2016 election to benefit Bag Lady. They know that a trial will expose the facts about the whistleblower’s (Leaker) ties to Schiff and Biden.

They know a trial will indict Biden and the DNC for their crimes and misdeeds more than it will ever dirty up DJT, and that President Trump will be guilty only of a thought crime for attempting to carry out his Presidential duties to root out corruption with the Ukrain, as he is required to do before handing over hundreds of millions of US taxpayer $.

I’m doubtful. Same was said about the House but in the end only 2 Dems voted against Pelosi.

5 seems very unlikely. Maybe 2. Manchin because he may have eyes on being Governor. Jones maybe, that depends on his internals. If he thinks he has a chance of re-election he will be a no because he knows if he votes against Trump he’s as dead as Vince Foster.
