I strongly agree and have maintained the same - from the beginning. If we can figure this out quickly from day one, why is this allowed to drag on and on?
We cannot trust Justice Roberts, that is for sure.

I'm 73 and not feeling so well. For a while now I thought I might get lucky and live long enough to see this swamp drained by the great, tireless efforts of Donald J. Trump.
He has done more than anyone could have expected. But it is beginning to look like D.C. is going to be an eternal foul sewer loaded with mostly wicked, very damaged amoral human beings.
Life can be a little depressing, but then there are ......
.... to cheer us up.

I swear that I searched Google for well over ten minutes and could not find one major government program that was ended.
I did however find this absurd summation of the problem:

Nope. But it's crazy to spend millions of dollars to create a fiction/pretend that they are respecting privacy.
Snooping will continue to the extent technology and practical considerations allow. Consider that the so-called "abuse" is looking at data that has already been collected. The rationale is that if they collect it, but don't look at it, it isn't snooping.
FISA exists mostly to BE a sham. It never was a serious "snoop control" system. It was a narrative control, public perception control effort. Even now we have congresspeople all huffy about protecting privacy, and "if they can do this to carter Page" nonsense. Well, they can, and the law was never and never will be a deterrent. It's naive to think laws control lawless people.
And the government has long demonstrated, by its actions, contempt for our "federal government has limited powers" constitution.

This "checks and balances" thing is useless when all three branches are aligned in self-serving. Sure, they battle each other for power - power over the public.
Never lose sight that the courts are hostile to the right to keep and bear arms. That tells you all you need to know about how the ENTIRE government views the public. Us vs. them baby.

I agree. Even if Nunes forces the FISA court to appoint an “Advocate” who is not a leftist fanatic, what real power would that person/office have?
Maybe FISC will replace Kris with Sally Yates.
