No, Mr. Democrat Senator, the Senate is NOT on trial. But the House should be. It was a sham impeachment in the democrat controlled House without a single Republican vote. One hundred percent democrat political sham. The America-hating, Constitution-hating, Trump-hating democrats couldn't even charge him with an actual crime.
Fair trial my ass. The House allowed no fairness whatsoever to the accused. It's the accused who deserves fairness, not the government or the House (aka the Democrat Party in this case).
He's accused of obstruction of congress? Hell, that's not a crime. It's an important part of his job!
This travesty should be summarily dismissed by the Senate and if the Senate can censure the House, they should.
Mitch should just say the senate trial will be just as fair as the house investigation. Or he could tell them to pound sand. I am sick of the Dems running the show no matter what. I hope we make it through this year.
If a GOP-controlled congress passed a law the left viewed as unconstitutional, they’d DEMAND that Trump “obstruct” congress.

When all is said and done in this Senate trial, nearly everyone will be on trial, except for Donald J. Trump.
What goes around, comes around. We can later remove the Democrat Congress members for obstruction of the President.
I do not support a hearing in the Senate as a result of this Schiff Show called impeachment. It’s a waste of time. It would legitimize the phony baloney trial the Rats held in the House.
But if hearings must be held, Call Schiff, Hunter and Joe, Eric Ciaramella, Pelosi herself, and others as key witnesses.

Now? We no longer have the House. But Dems still call the shots.
Without any high crimes or misdemeanors listed in the articles, the impeachment itself is constitutionally invalid.
Obstructing Congress by the Executive and Judiciary is how the system of Constitutional Checks and Balances works.
To my way of thinking every person going to work on Capitol Hill should be investigated by every Executive department and agency there is and the resulting reports be made part of the public record.
Heck I even think Senators and Representatives should wear HD body cameras 24/7/365 so that the people they claim to represent can see what they are getting.
