RE: For the Life of me, I cannot find any direct evidence alluding to the fact that Trump demanded Zelinsky help him compile evidence on Biden for the 2020 election.

1. The Transcript tells us he asked for a favor ( that wasn’t a demand ). And he asked it in the context of foreign interference of our elections. And he did not ask it for himself, he used the pronoun “US” not “ME”.

(EXCERPT)

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike... I guess you have one of your wealthy people... The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it.

[SNIP]

The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me.

2. Zelinsky said he never felt pressured by Trump at all.

What Romney is doing is akin to insisting that the alleged victim was raped when she already denied that she was raped.

When some people start getting booked and charged...I'll believe willard might get charged....

I highly doubt the LDS leaders...will let that happen...though.

"...doesn't fully explain why the Mormon senator, who is so moderate and risk-averse that he "
was seen some years ago walking on the ice of Lake Winnipesaukee carrying a 12 ft aluminium extension ladder segment to guard against breaking through.

A brothers-aunt's-nephew linkage, but my son's financial adviser used to fly businessmen and minor politicos around. He said that he was really impressed with Romney in the early days as he heard him talking about how government could help the public, etc.

YEARS later, he flew Romney & Crew somewhere and he couldn't believe the change - a total icehole on an ego trip.

I suppose we all could petition all the other Senators to expel him ( requires a 2/3 vote).

Willard McRomney (D-Burisma)

LOL!

I’m satisfied with letting him keep his name, as long as the party affiliation sticks:

Mitt Romney (D-Burisma)

Before you get all hysterically anti-Mormon... you do know that Trump’s approval ratings were higher than Mitten’s approval ratings in Utah, before the Mittens backstab.

Now Trump is probably soaring and Mittens is in the ash heap of Utah history.

We want Utah in the Trump column in November. So curb your enthusiasm, Ancient Man, and focus on the real evil here: a democRAT in R clothing.

Agree. Let Mittens think he’s in control.

Get the Donald re elected and if it takes waiting out Ruthie, and we get a replacement to offset Roberts the fake, i’m ok.

Let him know we know about his Burisam tie in before all that top keep him contained.

Then in a Mitten like move, after the above is accomplished , tell him we regret it but our “ conscience” just cant let his corruption go, and he will be exposed..

Turnabout is more than fair play...

Actually the contemporary account of the story and its after effects was written by Mark Twain in his book "Roughing It" in APPENDIX B.--The Mountain Meadows Massacre.

APPENDIX. A.—Brief Sketch of Mormon History B.—The Mountain Meadows Massacre C.—Concerning a Frightful Assassination that was never Consummated

Thanks for the heads-up!

I read Roughing It several times in my ill-spent youth, but I can't recall that part.

I'll see if a re-read will refresh my memory.

I consider Clemens to be one of the greatest American authors.

It’s the Globalists against the Populists.
It’s also a group of crooked politicians with membership from both parties, a “Good Ol’ Boys Club,” that are fearful an outsider named Trump is going to upset “their thing” (a cosa nostra).

A ping is where one freeper wishes to alert another to another FR article, or a post within the article's reply thread.

The day before, you and I had been discussing the topic on another thread.

http://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3814017/posts?page=101#101

So I pinged you to another thread that confirmed your opinion; but it is really no big deal. Just thought of our earlier convo; that’s all.
