So here is the new compromise; new York driver licenses are no longer acceptable ID to board an airplane. Period. Forget expedited boarding.
And the same should be true for any state that issues DLs to any illegal alien. Uber and Amtrak will welcome the new business.
Why should New York be on the Trusted Traveller program when the state is not acting in a trustworthy manner?

How can that be true? Any one of the Trusted Traveler Programs need a lot more than a drivers license. You have to prove citizenship or legal residence. You have to prove history of residence, history of employment, criminal history if any, and you go through an in-person interview. Trump wants something else from New York and he's using this as a tool.
