I think those type of rulings have impacted other companies. Last company I worked for would even pay your travel time to the airport if you were traveling.
I feel that if you are traveling as a requirement for your job, that you should be paid for 24/7 for the entire time that you are away. I mean, are you free to go home when you are sitting in a hotel room across the country or halfway around the world? No? Then you need to be paid for that time whether you are technically at work or just eating, or sleeping. You are still away at your employer requirement and not on your own free time.
