AIPAC hits back at Sanders over 'odious' criticism: 'Truly shameful'
The Hill ^ | 02 23 2020 | Aris Folley

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) fired back at Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday night after he said he would not attend the organization's annual conference and accused it of providing a platform to leaders who “express bigotry and oppose Palestinian rights."

In a statement AIPAC posted to Twitter, the pro-Israel group said Sanders “has never attended our conference and that is evident from his outrageous comment.”

“In fact, many of his own Senate and House Democratic colleagues and leaders speak from our platform to the over 18,000 Americans from widely diverse backgrounds – Democrats, Republicans, Jews, Christians, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, progressives, Veterans, students, members of the LGBTQ+ community – who participate in the conference to proclaim their support for the U.S.-Israel relationship,” the group said in the statement.

“By engaging in such an odious attack on this mainstream, bipartisan American political event, Senator Sanders is insulting his very own colleagues and the millions of Americans who stand with Israel,” the organization continued. “Truly shameful.”

Someone needs to call Comrade Curmudgeon out and make him enumerate exactly what he thinks are “Palestinian rights.”

Try to imagine what would happen at the Democratic convention if some delegates tried to introduce a plank in the Party’s platform that “The support that the United States gives to Israel is necessary and appropriate and that Israel, as an inherently Jewish state, not only has the right but must continue to exist.”

Comrade Sanders may accomplish something that no one has managed to do during the last 75 years, namely P.O. jews enough that they’ll quit auto-voting for Dem candidates no matter how reprehensible the Dem candidate is ...

Scapegoats are very necessary. Picking Israel is so simple to the scum left even if the Israeli left love Sanders and what he believes in.

He might make FL easier to carry for Trump.

And a few other states.

Don’t know if there’s a sizable Jewish population in any real swing states.

Nevada and PA has a few percent

Honestly, Jewish folks get picked on for their voting but they affect outcomes in VERY few states.

We Catholics swing a lot of states. We vote Trump +7

And we voted majority for the past 4 winners.

We went 5 points more for Bush in the 2nd term. And he sucked.

So I’m guessing our + numbers for Trump will go higher than 7.

Hispanic Catholics vote Overwhelmingly D.

White Catholics went for Trump at 60 percent.

Interesting data.

The nice thing about Sanders is unlike the rest of clowns running, what you see is what you get. He does try to hide who he is. And he’s feeling his oats after a couple of wins.

Should make an easy target.

#8. Yes, Old Goats like Sanders do “feel their oats” instead of eating them for good health.

Do you know what Trump’s White House Chef calls an old goat like Sanders? “Dinner”. “Mutton” on a kabob stick. “Army Ants” delight.

I prefer to call him a “tough, nasty tasting old goat” who will not go down well with Fava Beans and a fine Chianti.

Calling Hannibal Lechter - You are needed in the White House kitchen. Bring your cookbook “To Serve Man”.

Bernie the Red does try to hide his inner commie, a little. He's upset the DNC because he's too far ahead of the Plan. They're exposed. The intent is typically disguised like with Barry Soetero. Bernie is an ideologue first and anti-Israel with love for the anti-American squad. This is coming out a bit too fast. Hold on Bernie, hold on. 👹

AIPAC has had both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as their keynote speaker. That’s enough to keep me away, probably forever.
