If they’re on the receiving end, the only trace will be the chalk outline around their corpse-man. :-)

Everyone should be acquiring reloading equipment and stocking up on a million or so primers.

You got that right.

Isn’t it about time for Real Americans to put these would-be tyrants on notice and make them start sweating bullets?

I don’t see why WE always have to be on defense.

What stops a perp from visiting a firing range, pick up a handful of used brass from the ground and drop it at a crime scene?

The founders would wonder why we haven’t started shooting yet if they were alive today.

I am so glad they are not going to infringe on a right that “shall not be infringed.”

New York is not called “The Empire State” for nothing. I moved away in my late teens and never went back for more than brief periods to attend to family matters. To those left in New York: leave while you can. Take your assets and taxable income with you.

Is this even possible with current technology? I recall several years ago reading about some politician wanting some sort of micro labeling ammunition and the answer was: not possible.

Even more fun if you pick up brass from the police range.

Even better: the law, if passed, would outlaw current stocks of ammo. Anyone who possesses “non-coded ammunition” must dispose of it no later than January 1, 2022.

< satire >Why hasn’t he thought of just requiring all ammunition components themselves to have individual GPS with cellular capability to report coordinates of when and where it’s fired? Cases, primers, powder, and bullets? That would do what he really wants. . . Make ammunition so expensive no one could ever afford to buy any.

Shaddap, Swordmaker, don’t give these idiots any more ideas to run with. They will. . . < /satire >

I object to the “hon” in front of its name.

Let’s start a movement that requires the party affiliation initial and an apostrophe be placed Between the “The” and the title “Honorable” , like this “The D’Honorable John Doe”, and “The R’Honorable Jane Roe”. Pronounced “The Dishonorable John Doe” and “The Righthonorable Jane Roe” . . . Makes it much more descriptive. . .

If you catch it in your teeth, there’s no problem with ID-ing the numbers. Heh.

They’ll want to put a matching EPROM chip in the case and bullet. . . Give a new meaning to chipped tooth. . .

Well, DUH, riktman, what does it take, Rocket science??? Just pass another law that requires all murderers to empty their revolvers of the expended brass and dump them on the floor at the crime scenes! Simple.

Why do I have to think of all these simple solutions to these problems???? An even better solution would be to require murderers to drop their driver’s licenses, or write their names on the walls at crime scenes. Another is to require them to register their intention with the police BEFORE the go kill their victims. Makes things SO much simpler.

HEY! We could require them to take out a murder permit! If they want to do a mass murder, they could get a government license, specifying the number of targets they want to take! If they exceed that number they could be fined; more revenue from fines. It would be a great source of progressive governmental income. My god am I a genius at solving these problems!! < /sarcasm>

What is Ortiz’s background? Castroite? Chavezistia? Morales Mini-Marxist? Just a hardcore stupid Marxist? All of the above?

Time to target his seat for political extermination. Typical New York red and threat to freedom.
