Black Voters Turn Their Backs on Mike Bloomberg During Church Service

Congregants of a historically black church in Selma, Alabama, turned their backs on Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg on Sunday as he addressed them.

The protest, which remained silent and peaceful, took place as Bloomberg was giving a speech on the 55th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” a day when police attacked black citizens during a civil rights march in the town.

Several images shared to social media on Sunday showed both black and white voters standing with their backs turned to Bloomberg in Selma’s Brown Chapel AME Church.

According to those who attended the event, former Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams sat behind Bloomberg during his speech.

Bloomberg, a former mayor of New York City, has had a history of questionable comments surrounding America’s black community.

In 2011, during the launch of his multimillion-dollar Young Men’s Initiative, Bloomberg claimed black and Latino men “don’t know how to behave in the workplace.”

During Bloomberg’s tenure as New York City mayor, nearly five million individuals, primarily young men of color, were stop-and-frisked.

Bloomberg’s resurfaced comments on stop-and-frisk came during a 2015 speech to the Aspen Institute, where he pushed the idea of cities taking the initiative on instituting and enforcing the gun bans.

Good for the back-turners. F this a$$h0!3. He came to my state, dropped a lot of anti 2A money and got gun rights further restricted.

That’s right. This miniature tyrant doesn’t give a rat’s rectum about the little guy in this country.

He aims to allow his billionaire buddies and the Federal Reserve to continue screwing the little Americans, courtesy China.

Black and white anti-semites in Alabama? Dr. King Jr. would NOT approve of this.

The Left and the Stupids reveal themselves for who they really are, mindless tools of the Democrat Party. End of story.

Ironically, stop and frisk was an effective policy, and there was nothing racist about it. In fact, it saved tens of thousands of black lives.

Bloomberg’s mistake wasn’t implementing stop and frisk, or defending stop and frisk in the past. His mistake was thinking he could just fake apologize for it and get elected POTUS as a Democrat.

What was he thinking?

And he’s a Jew in a Black church. He should have doubled-down with Pete.

"I’d probably skip that service if a politician was giving a speech , thats not why I go to Church (even if it was someone I agreed with). The guy isn’t even Christian, not sure why he would even go there."

Exactly. Going to church is about the worship of the true and living God Almighty... this was almost the direct opposite (Bloom trying to get people to bless him with votes). If you want to hold such an event at a church, don't do it during the context a worship service.

"I always thought it was illegal to stump political in a church."

No, but aren't liberal Democrats always the first ones to scream 'separation of church and state!' whenever a Republican tries to mention their faith in any political context whatsoever?

Mini-Mike is toast after tomorrow he’s finished. Amy will put her race on hold, whatever that means, after Tuesday hoping she can at least pick up her home state.

Liz will stay in until after the next round then get out.

That will leave Bernie vs. the establishment who will circle the wagons around Jeff, er John, I mean Joe.

What I originally said was “thousands” - should have stuck with that. Tens of thousands might be a stretch. Sorry.

I was basing my comment on something I read that said homicides in NYC exceeded 2000 per year in the 80’s and early 90’s, then decreased to under 300 during the years of stop & frisk. That’s a 1700 per year difference over a long period of time.

I figured Giuliani was mayor from 1994 so I thought let’s multiply 1700 times 20 years - 34000 fewer murders, mostly black victims by far. Then extend it to other big cities like Chicago.

Still, that’s too much seat-of-the-pants guessing on my part - wrong to attribute all of that drop to stop and frisk.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to find any fair analysis on such a racially charged subject - the MSM and DNC agenda is to make the police and Republicans who support them look like racists.

My point is that the Democrats seem to have no problem with the idea of raiding rural homes to confiscate guns from law-abiding hunters and NRA members in zero crime areas, but they do have a problem with going into urban high crime areas where gang or drug related shootings occur every day, and frisking people that walk and talk like gangsters!

Still, sorry I exaggerated
