Some Israeli celebrities took to social media on Monday to post about the unprecedented third round of elections in Israel, but many chose not to rock the vote so much as ignore it. Among those who did acknowledge the day were actress/model Yuval Scharf, who posted a picture of herself on Instagram canoodling with her husband, musician Shlomi Shaban, next to the message, "Choose right ♥️ #govote #forabettertomorrow#today"

Will there be a winner today? Exit polls should tell us the outcome after the polls close in Israel at 10:00 pm Israel Time tonight.
those who did acknowledge the day were actress/model Yuval Scharf...
I think she’s not guilty but i’ll need to interrogate!!
Don’t worry, I’ll get the truth out of her one way or the other!
10 hours left according to the KAN chyron... thats Channel 11, the state broadcaster.
Its like Deja Vu... the suspense is killing me, lol
I don’t know if England’s or Israel’s election process gets me more confused.
Makes for interesting times :)
In Israel, no party will get a majority so the only question is whether the right wing or the centrist blocs will come out ahead.
A majority of 61 is needed to form a government. Avigdor Lieberman may play the spoiler role again if neither side gets a majority.
This third Israeli election has all the feel of Samuel Becketts Waiting For Godot.
Waiting For Godot...
Great. The only other FReeper online right now is one of the smart ones :)
I looked it up on wikipedia but it was too long a read.
Sumpin about 2 guys waiting for Godot, who never arrives and they engage in some other discussions and meet three other guys.
That’s as far as I got :)
Israelis wearing face masks. The country so far has escaped the coronavirus bug... but that may not last.
Israel just today confirmed its 10th case of the virus.

Praying Bibi finds favor with the voters
I think Israel needs to seriously consider going to a winner take all system like we have in the US. Something is obviously broken with your system when you have three elections in a year and there is still no guarantee you will be able to form a functioning government. A democracy just can’t continue on like that.
I voted for New Right.
The PA hasn’t had an election in more than a decade;-}
6 hours left til the polls close...
3rd election of the year for the same office/people?!
There were two inconclusive elections last year so this is the third one.
Doesn’t Israel function on ridiculous pure democracy form of government like the Netherlands ect, that is unstable? Unlike constitutional forms of government in the English world that encourage strong responsible government?
Reports of low voter turnout in Basar Lavan leaning areas like Tel Aviv.
Turnout of 38% at 2:00pm Israel time.
You mean Kachol Lavan. If true, Bibi should win a comfortable majority for his right wing bloc. Well see.
Its pure proportional representation based on a single nationwide formula. The threshold to enter the Knesset is 3.25%. Ten parties should get in tonight.
