Romney may vote against Trump again — this time with some bite
Washington Compost ^ | March 5, 2020 | Aaron Blake

Mitt Romney became persona non grata in certain parts of the conservative movement last month by becoming the first senator of a president’s own party to ever vote to remove them from office.

Romney indicated Thursday that he is skeptical about the need for the Senate Homeland Security Committee to issue a subpoena related to Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company.

“I would prefer that investigations are done by an independent, nonpolitical body,” Romney told The Post’s Mike DeBonis. “There’s no question the appearance is not good.”

Republicans have a 8-to-6 majority, meaning Romney’s vote, when combined with the six Democrats on the committee, would deadlock it at 7-7 and prevent the subpoena from being issued.

If Romney overtly tries to scuttle an investigation of Ukraine corruption,of which there is evidence he had a role, then what is left of the conservative media, elements of the Wall Street Journal, Fox and the National Review must lead a litany against him.

Dude, those outfits are all just as big NeverTrumpers as he is.

“I would prefer that investigations are done by an independent, nonpolitical UNICORN and, not one of Obama’s unicorns because that would be political.”

SCOTUS judges are supposed to be apolitical, yet they get politically threatened and intimidated. Has Mittens said anything about his ^colleague^ Schumer?

Since his son also has business with Burisma he must recuse himself.

Need to get some Republicans from Brooklyn (where apparently they use strong words according to Schumer) to speak with Mitt. It wouldn’t be a threat though, of course not.

If only there were independent entities that could hire people to investigate and research these people, find out what they’ve been doing, sort things out, and then report the facts to Americans, perhaps, I know this sounds crazy, but - over the radio or television. I bet it would really take off.

If only.

Has Mittens said anything about his ^colleague^ Schumer?

Why yes, yes he has...
A reprehensible threat from Senator Schumer is followed by a laughably
illogical prevarication. What ever happened to truth and a simple apology?

Ironic, wouldn't you say.

Simply remove him from the committee.

You’re welcome, Mitch.

“This is voting against America”

Precisely! Romney is a bitter, despicable human being, in the mold of John McCain.

The elites have been feeding their spawn off laundered taxpayer money for decades now. As goes one of them, as goes all.

They will protect each other since the risk is widely spread among all party affiliations.

It’s a safe bet that Romney, his family, and his cronies are all neck-deep in the Ukrainian corruption.

Someone should tell the moron that impeachment was a political investigation maneuver, of which he voted to convict. He is a two faces piece of crap.

Romney, Kerry, Biden, McCain, Pelosi, Schiff, Mueller & Clinton are tied to sketchy Ukraine deals

(excerpt)

Romney, Kerry, Biden, McCain, Pelosi, Schiff, Mueller, Soros, Brennan, McMaster, Obama and Clinton are all tied to sketchy Ukraine deals. No wonder they wanted to impeach President Trump!

Mitt Romney's top adviser, Joseph Cofer Black, joined the board of the Ukraine energy firm, Burisma, while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

Hunter Biden was taking a salary of $83,000 per month from Burisma, and was simultaneously engaged in a relationship with John Kerry's stepson, Chris Heinz, and mobster Whitey Bulger's nephew, in a private equity firm, that allegedly appeared to be laundering millions of dollars in foreign money from China & the Ukraine, through Latvia, and back to the US.

Derps gonna derp. The real Ukraine scandal.
