A Belgian doctor working to battle the coronavirus says he’s treated several seriously ill young patients — and their lung scans were “nothing short of terrifying,” according to reports.
Dr. Ignace Demeyer, who works at a hospital in Aalst, said an increasing number of people between the ages of 30 and 50 have presented with severe symptoms, despite having “blank medical records” that show no underlying conditions that would make them high-risk, the Brussels Times reported.
“They just walk in, but they are terribly affected by the virus,” Demeyer told the Belgian broadcaster VRT.
He said CT scans indicated they were suffering from severe lung damage.
“The images we took yesterday are nothing short of terrifying,” the doctor told the station.

I even heard the tail end of a Brian Kilmeade radio show where they were saying “So, yes, that is an idea suggested, to allow children and under age 60 to go everywhere and save the economy but totally quarantine anyone over 60. Because only old people get the virus and die.”

there probably is- read reports abotu how certain countries like italy had an ‘evolved’ version that was more virulent- who knows- but likely there may be a couple of versions of it- uggh- that would suck -unless one vaccine can prevent them all-

Absent verification and with all evidence to date pointing to almost ZERO infections with young folks I am calling this pure BS and a lame attempt for someone to get his name in the paper.
You know what they say, doctors are like a*sholes, every one has an opinion.
It is mostly true that “only old people get the virus AND DIE” with the operative words being “and die”

The article says “young people”. The ages are 30-50?
Any damn fool would tell you that these are likely smokers of some sort, but the title was obviously concocted to make it seem like kids.
