The whole thing is messed up because of the level of politicization it has received, and the outcome of that is whether the thing is a ‘hoax’ or it is ‘apocalypse’ the fact is the response given by the nation will not be the most optimal response.
A united America can do anything it puts its mind to, be it putting human feet on lunar soil, creating miracle medicines that stopped diseases that used to kill millions decades ago, create the strongest economy in the World’s history, split an atom, break a code, brings back astronauts in a troubled spacecraft by jury rigging assorted parts ...you name it, you guys can do it!

I blame on people who politicize EVERYTHING. From newspaper articles to businesses coming into existence to television shows everything is viewed through a lens of whether it helps or hurts Trump. This is a sickness which must be cured before we can ever come together as a nation again. And it’s very selfish on the part of the infected ... always about them and their political needs. Some people need to grow up and see the bigger picture.

No it isn’t both sides, it’s one side, the Dems; liberalism is a mental disease. I hate moral equivalence, and you are practicing it. Stop giving credence to leftist thinking based all on emotions rather than logic, rationality and individual thought which is how conservatives think. There is no moral equivalence to be had. You are making excuses for those with a herd mentality and big gov’t mind think. There are good guys and bad guys, and you are making excuses for the bad side. Stop it.

There is no moral equivalency in this legislation, nor in what has been going on in this country since 1/20/2017...never mind since around 1990.
For the last two or three decades I have paid particular attention to what Leftists (committed Democrat voters and politicians) have wreaked on this country, and there is no moral equivalence between the two.
Surely, those on the right have proposed and passed things that have been bad for this country, done things that we disagree with or may even be openly stupid, but theirs amounts to a mole hill while the Left amounts to a mountain. The most evil things the Republican politicians have done is to go along and vote with Leftists instead of fighting when they should have done so.
Look at what was done with the Mueller Probe and impeachment, and now this relief bill. The biggest thing I saw from Democrats when they were threatening to block the bill was that they were angry that all kinds of Leftist crap they thought should be in there were not.
When they had their chance to add, they put in things like $25 million for the Kennedy Center, money to be used “assist migrants and refugees” ($350 million), unprecedented collective bargaining powers for unions, increased fuel emissions standards for airlines, and Expansion of wind and solar tax credits.
None of that has anything to do with the Coronavirus. But they shoved those things in, and forced a fight to get a whole ‘‘American Coronavirus/COVID–19 Election Safety and Security” or ‘‘ACCESS” Act that she proposed removed.
This section would impose requirements on states for early voting, voting by mail, required mailing of absentee ballots to everyone, ballot harvesting (i.e., having third parties deliver absentee ballots), online voter registration, same-day registration and other practices which undermine confidence in the integrity of the ballot. In these days of increasing threats to election security we should be moving rapidly back to in-person paper ballots, but this bill would be a radical step in the wrong direction.
And then Pelosi lied about it. Just lied. Openly lied. They had her on video maintaining “There is nothing in this bill that does not have to do with Coronavirus. Nothing.” And she said it repeatedly.
These Democrats are not people who want to fix a crisis, these are people who are desperately grasping for power and political advantage in a time of national crisis.
