I had azithromycin once, a while back, for bronchitis. Worked fine.
Of course, this combo is given for a more severe condition.
What bothers me, and probably you as well, is that Fauci and other authoritarian medical powers, want to apply a double-blind, double-armed study in an emergency when time is a factor. And, when we have an effectively, if not formally, controlled arm of the many thousands who weren’t given the HCQ/Z-pack (and possibly Zinc) combination.
Azithromycin is used in combination to keep at bay, the bacterial pneumonia that frequently accompany this virus and other respiratory viruses. The viruses weaken the immune system so that the bacteria can take hold.
It’s one thing to do a double blind study when you have the luxury of time and lives aren’t assuredly on the line. When people will likely die without it, in my opinion it’s malpractice to give people a placebo just for the sake of double blind methodology and they die because they got the placebo.
