Sounds like Instacart better modify their code to limit how much someone can decrease their tips, otherwise they are going to lose their labor pool.
They’re doing this to people who know where they live?
I just did an instacart from Kroger...
The last two had several substitutions and a few out of stocks.
But at least I didn’t have to get off the sofa :-)
Probably a liberal getting mugged...by most likely another liberal. Thats a lot of stereotyping I know. But generally speaking conservatives are a. Not that naive and 2. Generous and honest people.
And I am tipping big. 30% on takeaway and delivery.
Kids, this is what is called “Being asshoe”.
That’s mean and very low. Don’t screw with people’s heads or their income. Certainly not now in this uncertain economy.
I would guess that the shoppers will pass that info on to co-workers.
Presumably they ordered something like soup.
Shouldn't be able to change it at all.
[[[Instacart allows customers to change a tip for up to three days.]]]
That’s ridiculous.
“On a random basis, the trial participants will receive either hydroxychloroquine or a placebo pill vitamin C every day for two weeks.”
How would you like to be the guy who receives the vitamin C?
I would keep a record of these scum. Take their order and non-fill or substitute crazily. A couple of orders and they will get the message.
Are we allowed to consider that the change may have been for poor service, or would that be racist?
THey just need a web site where they are allowed to post the clients who do this. Once the others know, those clients will never get anything delivered again.
This is seriously screwed up.
Dick move
That’s terrible. I always tip my Instacart people. I appreciate their service.
Can’t the delivery people leave a review of the customer? Usually reviews are a two-way street. I would think a customer would rip off a delivery person like that once, get a bad review, and no other delivery person would ever go to that address.
A $55 tip seems excessive so likely a mistake. Are they alleging fraud? Did the delivery person expect a big tip, were they promised one for doing something?
If they are depending on tip to give them salary, they should realize the risk. Just get paid more, leave the risk to the employer, and do a good job. The whole tipping racket is out of control and excessive. I do not tip unless it is something exceptional and above and beyond. Otherwise, they are an employee just doing their job.
Some people, ACTUALLY MOST PEOPLE are just assholes!
