Lil Wayne on George Floyd: Stop Blaming Every Cop and Making It About Race
BREITBART ^ | May 29, 2020 | Ben Kew

Rap megastar Lil Wayne urged people not to jump to conclusions regarding the police involved death of George Floyd. The Grammy-winner condemned those smearing every police officer and called out those making Floyd’s death about race.

“I think when we see these situations, I think we also have to understand that we have to get very specific,” Lil Wayne said in an Instagram Live conversation with rapper Fat Joe. “We have to get so specific and what I mean by that, we have to stop viewing it from such a broad view, meaning we have to stop placing the blame on the whole force and the whole everybody of a certain race or everybody with a badge.”

“We have to actually get into who that person is,” Wayne continued. “And if we want to place the blame on anybody, it should be ourselves for not doing more than what we think we’re doing.”

Lil Wayne has described how his life was saved by a police officer when he was a child, and it makes sense that he would not join the rush to condemn all police for the actions of a few.

Problem is, that the Somali rioters in Minneapolis don’t understand a thing that Lil Wayne writes or sings.

Thousands of black people are murdered each year by...wait for it...other blacks and we see no rioting, looting.

Watching the images of packs of hyenas looting stores freaking disgust me.

Thank You, Lord, a voice of reason!

This shouldn’t be about race. Doesn’t matter what color the guy on the ground was. What matters is a man died at the hands (foot) of an over-bearing cop. AND the do-nothing idiot cops who stood and watched. They should be charged with negligent homicide.

Yeah, tribalism doesn’t solve evil - it is itself evil. Blame those who did it - not those who didn’t.

Have you heard some of these black rioters interviewed on the street? I have, they’re not even capable of understanding what Wayne is trying to say here. They just want mayhem, free stuff and blood.

It’s not about race, it’s an excuse to incite violence.

According to the CDC causes of death file for 2017, under “Legal Intervention” -

non-hispanic white male - 292.

non-hispanic black male - 148.

292 wbites killed by cops, 148 blacks. While blacks, according to FBI stats, typically represent 60 to 70% of all arrests pretty much any year.

Somebody mentioned blacks killing each other (think Chicago) ...no numbers there, but CDC says under the homicide by firearm heading,

white male - 2,466
black male - 7,546.

That’s nationwide, for 2017.
