German Chancellor Angela Merkel has rebuffed Donald Trump’s invitation to attend a G7 summit, which the president is keen to portray as a symbol of a return to normality from the upheaval of the coronavirus crisis.
"The federal chancellor thanks President Trump for his invitation to the G7 summit at the end of June in Washington. As of today, considering the overall pandemic situation, she cannot agree to her personal participation, to a journey to Washington," German government spokesman Steffen Seibert told POLITICO Friday.

Looks like the G-7 is dead because if they snub Trump this year I don't see him participating next year or the years after that.

Everything else is cancelled. These summits are just about power and money and worthless.....and I believe there are usually riots. Cancel is good.

When the G-Whatever came here to Pittsburgh, during the Obama Regime, Downtown was surrounded by a chain link fence.It was very disturbing. We had riots in the City, though outside the fence.

The summits rotate from country to country each year. They cost a fortune in security and logistics and are basically photo ops. A quick video conference would be just as good but the argument is it won’t have the same feel or something. If the coronavirus sinks them forever it would be one hell of a silver lining.

The “riots” were a couple dozen people protected by the national guard. Mike Pintek interviewed a reporter (international credentials) who embedded herself in the “protest”. I came away from that realizing all the “security” was about making sure the residents gave up their rights without a fuss. It was for their safety ya know.

The riots in Minneapolis, MN were not fake. The buildings burned were real, not fake. They burned the police station and looted many businesses and burned several other large buildings. The Mayor took little or no action in response.
But they were certainly agitated and planned by the ComDems. Probably by BLM and Antifa. Paid by Soros.
