Secret Service agents rushed President Donald Trump to a White House bunker on Friday night as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the executive mansion, some of them throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades.
Trump spent nearly an hour in the bunker, which was designed for use in emergencies like terrorist attacks, according to a Republican close to the White House who was not authorized to publicly discuss private matters and spoke on condition of anonymity. The account was confirmed by an administration official who also on condition of anonymity.
The abrupt decision by the agents underscored the rattled mood inside the White House, where the chants from protesters in Lafayette Park could be heard all weekend and Secret Service agents and law enforcement officers struggled to contain the crowds.

In another bout of Inauguration Day fake news, liberal news reporters in the Oval Office claimed President Trump removed the bust of Martin Luther King from the office. The incorrect rumor/tweet spread through the liberal blogosphere like free safety-pins. Time Magazine’s political correspondent Zeke Miller dropped the match and others quickly threw dry tinder on the rumor’s fire.

Time reporter Zeke Miller was at a Teaism cafe near the White House Wednesday around noon when President Barack Obama came in for a surprise visit. Miller started broadcasting Obama’s visit on Periscope with his smartphone. A peeved Obama ordered Miller to stop filming–and Miller obeyed.
Yeah, some guy standing on the sidewalk outside the White House, who claims he's a Republican. What a joke.
This must be an antitrump talking point because the radio News that’s ignored 90% of the news glommed onto this immediately.

It is my understanding though, that in the threat of an imminent threat to the safety of the first family, that the secret Service has the legal authority to force the POTUS to safety against his will.
