Rep. Max Rose (D-NY) of New Yorks Staten Island declared that Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) has lost control of the citys streets and called for the deployment of the National Guard to assist with enforcing Tuesdays 8 p.m. curfew.
Rose said in a statement that the majority of the protests yesterday were peaceful, but he acknowledged the mayhem that occurred in parts of the city last nightthe unprecedented looting and attacks on officers and bystanders.
It was not part of the movement to ensure justice for George Floyd and other victims of police brutality. And anyone who would say so is being dishonest at best, he continued before taking aim at de Blasio directly.

Thanks for straightening me out on that point.
I guess the last sane Democrat was Zell Miller — but Georgia is a long way from NYC, and Miller is no longer alive to see what a disgrace his party has become.

[Sohrāb or Suhrāb (Persian: سُهراب) is a legendary warrior from the Shahnameh, or the Tales of Kings by Ferdowsi in the tragedy of Rostam and Sohrab. He was the son of Rostam, who was an Iranian warrior, and Tahmineh, the daughter of the king of Samangam, a neighboring country. He was slain at a young age by his father Rostam. Rostam only found out he was his son after fatally wounding him in a duel. Kaykavous, the king of Iran, delayed giving Rostam the healing potion (Noush Daru) to save Sohrab as he feared losing his power to the alliance of the father and the son. Rostam gave Tahmineh a bracelet as a reminder and a sign to his son. ]

They’re trying to bait Trump to step in, just as Judge Sullivan is baiting to issue a pardon for Flynn. Both are a trap.

That’s a stringent standard. I took a look at his ADA score (liberal rating by People for the American Way, a far-left group) way back. Zell was more right wing than 90% of the Republican party of his time. Today, that would be 100%. Most of these right-wing Democrats switched parties. That’s why we have GOP majorities today. They used to keep Democrats somewhat more centrist. When they switched parties or lost Dem primaries, the Dems drifted to the left.

Trump should stand down and let these democratic governors and mayors solve the rioting. Eventually the dems will start turning on each other. Nope - when things get really bad as a result of their weak response, they will simply blame Trump for not helping and then the media will blast that lie into idiot dem voters' ears and eyes until November.

What will the MSM do when reality pushes the Democrats away from the current narrative and towards President Trump's position? They're already trying to cover for the current Democrat talking points, but those points are slowly shifting.

FWIW, the author of this article is Hannah Bleau, not Max Rose.

Max is a little punk that knows he is finished in November. He is a typical liberal Democrat phony. I don’t care that he was in the army wounded in combat, so was Benedict Arnold

[okay you probably shouldnt speak about a place you dont live in. Staten island is very conservative. If you did any reading or research at all you would see that part of Brooklyn is in our district and thats why a hardcore conservative could never win. But Staten island elected officials are conservative. Do some research next time dont be so lazy.]
Maybe the population of SI is very conservative, but I have my doubts. Susan Molinari is not someone I would call very conservative. This was probably before redistricting added in Brooklyn.
