In a scene reminiscent of a Maoist struggle session, he stood before two black protest organizers Saturday and confessed through a mask into a microphone that he was “coming to grips with my own brokenness.”
But the organizers, standing on a platform above him, weren’t interested in providing therapy for this 38-year-old man-child.

Forgive me if any Minneapolisotians are out there, but I am curious in a mean sort of way, as to just what the wonderful city council members have in mind when they plan on replacing the Minneapolis Police. Visions of vigilante patrols and violent justice in neighborhoods and a hollowed out smoldering downtown come to mind. These woke disciples of Mao are suicidal and insane.

He needs to explain to his council president that paying taxes is not a privilege, so hiring police with that tax money so that there is someone to call for help when someone steals your car, etc., is not a privilege either. It’s a contract to pay money for services rendered. Since the mayor seems to understand this on some level there may be some hope for him at least.
If he grew up, he wouldn’t be a Demonrat. And if he wasn’t a Demonrat, he wouldn’t be Mayor.
