Chris Stirewalt: Trump campaign is 'demonstrably worse off' than in 2016

Fox News politics editor Chris Stirewalt told the “Fox News Rundown” podcast on Wednesday that President Trump's campaign is “demonstrably worse off” compared to the same point in the race four years ago.

“We are almost five months away from the election,” Stirewalt noted. “At this point four years ago, Trump trailed Hillary Clinton by less than three points. Now, Trump trails [Joe] Biden by more than eight points and swing state polls tell the same story.”

Have to say I am worried after hearing Ed Rollins sharply criticizing the Trump campaign and saying they had better get their act together soon. He also didn’t care for Trump’s rambling speech at his Tulsa rally. He says that Trump’s message is getting stale, and he says the same things at every rally. I have to agree, and the thing about the slippery ramp and all the saluting was kind of silly.

I can’t imagine the destruction this country will face if the Democrats win big in November.
