China Botches 5th Rocket Launch of the Year, Despite Bid to Dominate Space
Epoch Times ^ | 07/10/2020 | Eva Fu

The Chinese regime failed a rocket launch on July 10—the fifth unsuccessful attempt that Beijing has publicly acknowledged over four months—in its bid to further its space ambitions.

The maiden launch of Kuaizhou-11, China’s largest solid carrier rocket to date with the strongest carrying capacity, failed upon its liftoff at a launch base in Inner Mongolia, causing the loss of two communication satellites it was carrying.

The incident marked Beijing’s fifth rocket launch failure since March this year. Chinese authorities said they are still looking into the causes.

The regime had originally planned for Kuaizhou-11’s launch as early as the end of 2016, but has repeatedly postponed the mission due to technical difficulties.

The government has yet to provide the estimated financial losses due to the failures and destroyed satellites.

The Chinese regime has suffered a number of setbacks in the past year in attempting to send satellites into space.

On June 16, Beijing delayed the launch of the final Beidou navigation satellite by a week due to technical issues. With the last satellite installed a week later, Beijing aims to provide an alternate global navigation system to rival the United States’ GPS (Global Positioning System).

On May 5, a large Chinese rocket, known as the Long March 5B, with a roughly 20-metric-ton core stage, plunged to the earth from space after malfunctioning. It passed over Los Angeles and New York’s Central Park, crash landing into the Atlantic Ocean.

They’d get it right eventually, and its only because we’ve given them so much technology.

And there is absolutely reasonable to expect that all China’s military hardware is of this same quality.

Joey B. at their service.

He just might launch a few on domestic targets out of sheer dementia or whispers from an earpiece.

Nothing to worry about. Turns out it was just a UPS cargo plane.

When you have a system where the prime motive is not profit from adding value but profit from graft, you are going to get corrupt parts.

How do we know they didn't malfunction on purpose? Future launch, falls on Wash D.C., Chinese say "So sorry, malfunction!".

SAY WHAT ? are they trying to get us used to some big rocket flying over us with satellites, what if they say its satellites and 2 huge emp weapons go off over us on both coasts.

not that I dont trust them /sarc.

why does their rockets pass over us, seems like a huge risk
we need to tell them fly those things far from us or we shoot them down.

"They need another Democrat in the White house to sell them missile technology."

That, and/or a compliant congress and executive branch that essentially allows chinese foreign nationals to take up spots at associated universities and industry where they can steal the technology.

Scientists and technical people and basically everyone doesn’t do a good job when they are under threat. I know that psychopathic people think they can achieve everything by waving guns at people. But people in fear make mistakes.

China is full of corner cutting SOB’s that promote scientists/engineers that do what the boss wants, and not the ones that do the right thing.

They may never have a successful aerospace industry.
