A nationwide poll released on Monday indicates former Vice President Joe Biden is underperforming compared to prior Democrat nominees among black voters.
The poll, conducted by John Zogby Strategies and EMI Research Solutions, surveying 1,000 voters nationally, found only 77 percent of black voters are committed to voting for Biden in the general election. Meanwhile, according to the results, 14 percent of black voters plan to support President Donald Trump, with another nine percent still not having made up their mind.

This is a national poll. I think if you went state by state, in some cases...Biden would only draw 50-percent of black votes (particularity with black males). Even in Minneapolis...Trump might still draw one-third of black votes in the city after all the riot and looting business.
Minnesota is very winnable.

I’m very skeptical that Trump can get 14 percent of the Black vote nationally. If he does even that well it will be great.

That is why there will be a black vp candidate who will become president within weeks.
Skepticism is warranted, as individual polls are unreliable, particularly this far out from an election.
That said, Mr. Trump, portrayed as a "racist" candidate, has consistently polled well above his 8% black vote from 2016. One poll from mid May had him near 40% approval.
It is clear that he will do better than 8%, could do as well as 14%, and has the potential to be the first GOP candidate since Eisenhower in 1956 to break 20% (Ike got 21% in '52 and 37% in '56).

While I'm a bit skeptical as well, I wouldn't be terrible shocked either. I work at an Accounting firm with quite a few college educated middle class blacks. Many of them are as disgusted by the rioting and violence as we are. And quite frankly, they have a lot to lose with Biden's huge tax increases as well. One black lady in particular was a big Hillary supporter in 2016, but rolls her eyes when you mention Biden and calls him a "useless lump". I don't know if people like her will end up voting for Trump, but I could very easily see her just not voting.

A decision needs to be made by the Trump administration. Do we continue as we are until the election hoping the economy recovers enough and lawlessness only continues in those states not needed for re election.
Or do we go proactive and clamp down on these activities orchestrated by the Democrat party.
There is risk in either one. The difference is one allows the tone and tempo to be controlled by the choice made. If the internal polling looks good then maybe the status quo is the correct move, but if not the there are options.
The president could federalize the national guard and he could limit assembly in the streets. By doing so he could enter Democrat controlled cities and return law and order tho be it by violence.
It would be important to identify that the Democratic party is in open revolt and in treason with a duly elected president and after several coups are now promoting violence and rioting to disrupt society.
Arrests would need to made of several top leaders in the country political and corporate e for their participation.
Concerning coronal virus the federal government would create policy and overide state policies.
Masks are to be worn in life sustaining facilities such as hospitals, shopping and merchandise stores with a virus concentration of a certain amount for the county. All other places are voluntary
Schools are to be opened, if not funding will be provided for alternative private schools in the area. Students who have concern for family members can Cyber school.
The media pool needs to be immediately disbanded and a new internet based pool created.
The president can then make his case on what the Democratic party has been doing these past couple of years while assuring the ultimate choice of their future will be theirs in November.
In other words Joe “You Ain’t Black” Biden is going to restart the demonkraps’ programs that Trump has interrupted for the past 3+ years..
