Over 100 homicides made July Chicago's most violent month in decades, extending the rising tide of crime that, police data show, began at the same time as anti-police protests spawned by the death of George Floyd.
With 105 deaths, July was the city's deadliest month since 1992, but still only slightly more deadly than June's 92. The weeks since Floyd's death, in fact, are some of the most violent in 20 years of official data.
Challenging popular media presentation of the post-Floyd protests as largely peaceful, the first week of protests coincided with the highest counts of arson, burglary, homicide, gun violence, and public disorder incidents on record. While rates of the lesser crimes have abated, murder and gun violence remained elevated through the most recently available data.

Has anyone else noticed that the MSM only notes the weekend shootings and murders in Chicago, as if a cease fire exists Monday thru Friday.
Time and again the Dem leaders of Chicago have been hostile and uncooperative to the President.
If they are seemingly unconcerned about their own people being killed each week, then why should police risk and often lose their lives trying to save them?
Their reward (paltry paycheck not included) is to be called a pig, a murderer and a cop targeting innocent blacks out of racism.

Hold massive BLM protests in Blue Cities with high Covid 19 infection rates. Like the one planned in DC for teachers, coordinated by the DNC’s long time BLM overseer, Al Sharpton.
Then, let the killer virus Covid 19 take out more blacks participating in the protests involving 100,000 BLMers, packed together, yelling and screaming while protesting. That will spread the CV 19 into their BLM mobs to take it home with them.

It’s strange times in New York City. COVID — and confused government policies — has commercial buildings desolate in Manhattan. Few are returning to work in their offices despite politicians proclaiming otherwise. Restaurants can open for food but not for drinks. Gatherings are forbidden — unless it is to protest. Crime is through the roof, months after elected officials allowed looting and forced police to turn a blind eye.

democrat mayors all over the country are responsible for the killings. democrat mayors willfully allowed antifa and blm to occupy parts of cities, and to kill, assault, steal, burn, destroy, and occupy. The mayors gave them moral and material support, and therefore are criminally responsible for their actions. That sent a message to criminals all over, that they would face no consequence for their actions if they carried flags saying “blm,” “george floyd,” “antifa,” or “hate America.”
