"Across 15 battleground states, the survey finds Biden has the backing of 49% of registered voters, while Trump lands at 48%.
Taken together, though, they represent a more Republican-leaning playing field than the nation as a whole."
This is CNN and this could be the start of very bad news for Biden. If CNN is putting out a poll this close and with this sort of Trump improvement, it means Trump has pulled ahead in the key states he needs to win. Now let's keep it going!

Dems are desperately trying to keep the campaign from starting. Basement Biden is toast if we have anything like a normal campaign season.

Registered voters. Irrelevant.
Likely voters weighted reasonably to reflect 2016 turnout? Id find
Informative. Still not authoritative, due to problems reaching people and who cooperated and who plays mind games.

In 2014, I said early on that Larry Hogan was going to beat Anthony Brown in the Maryland governor’s race, even though pretty much every poll showed Brown ahead. I was watching the trend line (the movement.) It was consistently moving in Hogan’s direction.
I noticed the same thing in 2016 with Trump, and I’m seeing a similar thing now.

National polls mean absolutely nothing, because we don’t have a national election, we have the Electoral College.

“I noticed the same thing in 2016 with Trump, and Im seeing a similar thing now.”
Same here.
The movement of Independents towards Trump in late summer 2016 was also a telltale sign.

Trump almost peaked too early in 2016. He was very lucky that he won. I think biden’s already peaked this year.

Saw something like this as well. Cannot recall the poll because I was just skimming, but it showed DJT doing better by 6% with Hispanics than he did in 2016, and Biden doing 8% worse than Hillary.
