At least 60 people were shot, five fatally, over the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that by Monday morning, the number of shooting victims reached 66, with five deaths.
On August 23, 2020, Breitbart News reported 24 had been shot in Chicago, Friday through Saturday evening alone. Three of the victims succumbed to their wounds. Those three victims were all killed early Saturday morning in separate shooting incidents.

Actually, that’s a pretty good weekend for her. I’ve heard that there is a two month backlog of moving vans available for moving household goods out of the city. I wonder why?

But her hair is done, hygiene is good she dont stink and she has cops who are paid by the tax payers patrolling her neighborhood, keep her a## and family safe while the rest of Chicago hides in fear. She needs to be skinned, salted and hung in the town square
I blame the NRA for those pathetic numbers. If they were actively involved in Chicago in offering shooting classes, there wouldn't be so many non lethal shootings.........
The BEM (Bug Eyed Monster) keeps saying the shootings are unacceptable. My question is: If the shootings are unacceptable why do they keep happening?
The solution to this is simply to accept the shootings. Then the problem of all these unacceptable shootings disappears.

Making the Chicago of the Capone era look safe and peaceful in comparison. Ignorant mayor can blame guns coming in from outside all she wants, it’s the people inside Chicago doing the shooting.
About twenty years ago someone made a fake advertisement for sights that stick to the side of your handgun. Holding the handgun sideways not put the sights on “top”. Some politicians thought it was real and went berserk over it.

Cook County’s yearly bill for uninsured shooting victims hospitalization goes into high eight figures. That is for real. Guess who pays that in taxes.
