Megyn Kelly slammed the Girl Scouts of America for succumbing to pressure and deleting a tweet celebrating the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
The organization, which presumably seeks to empower girls and celebrate the achievements of powerful women they can aspire to be, caved to critics and lawmakers.
The original post was captioned: “Congratulations Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman appointed to the Supreme Court since its inception in 1789.”
The tweet showed each of the five women. Certainly a cause worthy of celebration, no doubt.

Well, the GS could always send a twitter out, “ACB, the Girl Scouts doesn’t give two shakes about you being the 5th woman on the Supreme Court. You don’t think like we want you to, so go to hell.” Yah, GS, be honest with ACB. I know I will the next time their cookies are being sold.
That was idiotic of the Girl Scouts, wasn’t it?
If an organization wants to celebrate women’s achievements, in this case women on the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett is part of that story of women’s achievements, being only the 5th woman to be on the Supreme Court.
And the liberals had a meltdown over that.
And an organization supposedly dedicated to developing girls into strong women, developing them into strong women who won’t wilt and back down under pressure, wilted and backed down under pressure from the left.
So what are they saying? That the achievements of only liberal women are worth noting?
What an awakening she got! Here she was, working for GSA, which is supposed to celebrate the empowerment and success of women in society.
She duly reported on the Amy's great achievement, only to discover that's not what GSA is about any more.
I still like the cookies, but the Scouts are dead to me now. I imagine the tweeter feels the same.

Liberalism. It destroys everything it touches...EVERYTHING...including the GSA and a wide host of others. It is the BORG of this century.

The ideology is, “If you don’t kill babies, you ain’t a woman”.
It’s not really the fault of the GSA per se, but whiny mothers who complained.
And of course, we must cave to every single complaint.
Maybe conservatives should use that logic on them and complain about being insulted and offended. Then perhaps we could get our way for a change.
