Duh.... good morning nice to see you awake!
A rather moot point. This could turn out to be America’s last “election”, if we still want to call it that.
And he’s worried about polling. Here’s a clue skippy, there won’t be another Republican president in my lifetime, so what are you gonna do with polling anyway?
A little too late from the guitar playing pussy. What an f’n idiot.
It’s weaponized for the Dems, you will see a lot more of it.
Polls need the mockery they deserve. Also, conservatives need to end their cozy relationship with Fox News. Their polls are among the worst, which is saying something.
Hardly worthless. The polls are meant to be political psy-ops and accomplish exactly what they are intended to do.... Suppress, discourage, confuse and ultimately deny a fair election
Hardly worthless
I agree. Its silly to talk about bad polling which anyone knew was garbage anyway when it looks like Kamala will be President within a year. Sigh!!!
Yup.
I cannot allow myself to Hate like a “Progressive”. But, I cannot forgive the Republicans that fed the 66M+ Trump supporters to the Democratic Hyenas.
They will never have a place at the table again.
If Biden wins steals it, then the polls were right. GFY, Huckleberry.
Mike was a great Trump supporter
Hey, Huck! It’s just as accurate as viewing pigeon entrails, so let’s use that!
At least we can eat the results..................
Agree. Polls are used by RATs to depress GOP vote.
Its an asset to RATs.
Fox News shat on conservatives all damn night. I suspect a lot of us will never forgive or forget. Happily, I mostly watched LS’s live night coverage on at my laptop. I’d have gone bonkers relying on Fox. Switched to NewsMax partway thru the night.
Yeah, I had two sources running all night while also reading & posting on FR.
Zuckerberg, Pichai, Dorsey, Bezos, et al. know before I do when I’m about to walk down the hall to pee. The notion that they did not know that any of this would happen is ridiculous. At every moment they knew that the polls were wrong, and by how much. So did Biden, Pelosi, et al. So did President Trump and his team.
The left thought from Nov 2016 and for some time that they could put a modest thumb on the scales to alter outcomes and that Trump would quickly fold. But then the thumb had to get heavier, then heavier still. They were stuck going to ever greater lengths. And even here at the end of the President’s first term they underestimated him as they threw everything that they have at him. And too bad for them, because he had won before election day, for example, as he re-populated the SCOTUS and US judiciary. He exposed Xi Jinping just as the demographic implosion in China hit full stride. Even if President Trump loses, he will be lionized by > 40% of Americans for all of history. President Trump’s impact cannot be undone. Indeed, his catalyzing of a massive restructuring of politics and of our elites is just begun.
To focus on errors in the polls is to miss the bigger picture. The errors were not incompetence or imperfections in polling methodologies. They were baked, and they are a small part of a much larger machinery.
I’m not even alleging fraud or mendacity. I have many Dem friends and family members who I consider salt of the earth and very well-intentioned and smart. I just think it’s a slippery slope ... and that these folks have lost their perspective over time.
The elites on the other hand are cancers and for them there must be consequences. Just for example, we should make sure that Bezos has handed a great gift to Walmart. If we can’t stop watching online content, at least subscribe intermittently, choosing Netflix for only the first quarter in each year, Disney in Q2, etc. Tune out the NBA in favor of college basketball. More generally, find ways to de-platform from a predatory and voracious online and Big Tech leviathan.
All you have to do to make polling fade into the background is to have viewers not look at them.
If you are looking at polling as “accurately assessing the current state of how someone is going to do in an election,” then of course it’s wrong. But unfortunately, it did its trick in keeping the election within the margin of fraud for the Dems. That’s all that matters, and to that end, from the Dem’s point of view, polling was a rousing success.
